Whoa what a chapter, I didn't realize how intense it was going to be! I thought it was going to be a joke or AJ was being over dramatic but wow oh wow! Did I mention that I am going to see BSB for the first time since 2005 on June 2nd?!

I'm somewhat lucky in the sense that I live in a major city that they hit during every single leg of their North American tours. I couldn't imagine not seeing them for years at a time. :( I hope that you have an amazing time at the show!! Also, I'm glad that the action took you by surprise. That was my intention. :)

I still do the same thing that you described... All limbs must be on bed, nothing may not hang, hell, I can't even keep my feet uncovered! My mom and dad scarred me with stories of el cucuy aka boogeyman. I hate being woken up by. them Charlie horses argh! Them bodyguards are still suspicious. Now they know how strong they are uh-oh. Adrenaline is a hell of a thing. Its nice to know Brian and Nick would do what it takes to help out a brother in need. Also ver dangerous, but I like it for the story's sake. Wonderful update! Its nice to read before a nap. Hehehe
Author's Response: I also have to keep my feet covered and on the bed at all times. Even if I'm super hot, I will have at least one blanket while I'm sleeping. My husband thinks I'm crazy!! I love how people are suspicious of the bodyguards. Too funny! FYI, "El Cucuy" sounds way scarier than the boogeyman.

IT GOT ME HANGING!!!!!!!!!! such a cliffy. I read this quite late from the day you posted, i just got home from the province where there is no internet, and this is the first thing i read. haha!! Oh wow, I am very impressed, you write in detail and it amazes me. Anyway, with the story, I am extremely impressed with the progress and I look forward to this action. You didn't let me down, but i gotta admit that you got me wanting more. I have a gut feeling someone's gonna get hurt, haha! Part of me wants that to happen, specially if its brian, he seems vulnerable and is just trying to pretend to be strong for everyone's sake. But its up to you, and Im excited with whatever you write. :) can't wait for your next chapter. :)

Yikes! That was quite a mean cliffy you left there. Loved your descriptions in this chapter. I was really able to visualize everything that was happening. I had to laugh at the beginning because at first I forgot about the room with the two bed and I was envisioning Brian and AJ just randomly sleeping in the same bed together. I was thinking "Hrmmm well now we're going in a whole new direction!" LOL Curious to see who this person is. Maybe it's one of their security people testing them or a good old fashioned goon!

Well, way to get into the action! I went from anticipating another 'settling in' chapter, to thinking AJ's imagined 'huge, scary man' was rather extreme, to wondering just who these seemingly multiple people trying to get into the house really are. Unless it's one of their bodyguards that they failed to identify in the dark, but I didn't get that impression...
Anyway, this was a most entertaining chapter, especially AJ's wondering if he'd die in his boxers and Brian's brilliant headlock manoeuvre! Really looking forward to seeing whether anyone else wakes up and joins the mayhem and if the crazy people outside actually manage to get in. :)

Sorry for the delay, but the next chapter has finally been posted and it reveals who the intruders are.

Wow! That action came fast. Was really exciting though. Good thing Brian is not the twig he once was. He put them arms to use real fast. A.J. Would be a goner! The descriptions were great, felt like I was watching a movie. Just needed some popcorn. Can't wait to find out who this intruder is and if he is alone. It would be funny if they choked out like their security or something. The other guys better get up soon and help their brothers. Dang heavy sleepers.

Well, I have to say it was pretty refreshing to see Howie standing up for himself, even if the fit he pitched didn't seem to get the point across to anyone else.. which was not so surprising. ;) I love how in each chapter we see the action through each character's eyes, so that what seemed amusing and charmingly rebellious in the last chapter (i.e., buying too many of Nick's favourite cookies) becomes a sign of self-centredness and irresponsibility from Howie's POV.
Loved the humour you injected into this chapter also.. I had to laugh about the 80's flower explosion in the guest bedroom and how Nick, the person who objected most violently to the pink Barbie room, ended up getting saddled with it. Definitely looks like a situation that will encourage Nick's jealousy on all fronts. ;)
Definitely felt (mostly in a good way) a bit like a reenactment of the Boys' supposed claiming of bedrooms when they rented that house in Soho.
After this episode, I wonder if the guys will be able to cooperate long enough for some collective dinner making. :)

Author's Response: Howie sure did give it a good try. It just didn't work out the way that he wanted it to. *sigh* Perhaps that means that he will have to try again later on. I HAD to give Nick the Barbie bedroom!! It just wouldn't have been right to give it to anybody else. :) As far as the collaboration goes, you'll have to wait and see. What happens next will either drive the guys apart or bring them closer together ...

I LOL'd at Howie's supposed insult to AJ and how his little tantrum basically went unnoticed by the other guys, poor D! It was so hard reading this and wanting to not yell at Howie how he and Nick are more of a pairing than he and Brian nowadays! LOL but that's real life getting in the way of fiction one. Don't you hate when that happens? It really must be hard being in a group of five because someone almost always is left out of things. It was also sad how he reflected on if anyone would care if he was the one who was dead. :O( poor guy!
Author's Response: I love how everyone is feeling bad for Howie at this point. I really do feel bad for him sometimes. It's funny that you bring up the Howie/Nick pairing as their relationship will be touched on as the story progresses. When it comes to the boys, sometimes I seriously have to stop and think about whether or not I'm remembering something that happened in real life or in a fictional situation. (That probably can't be a good thing...LOL). Also, I am still planning on doing the reading challenge. I just haven't gotten around to doing it yet. Life is getting in the way. :(
