Author's Response: When I found out it was released November 1973, I put it in my notes for Third Year. I found that out last July when I first started storyboarding this. That tidbit has been a LONG TIME COMING. Wait 'til you see what happens for film references in 6th year... May 1977... XD
This scene with Remus and Lily is one of my favorites so far in the whole movie. Remus has gone rogue to what I had storyboarded for him originally. I had to throw away all my notes for him from 3rd year on because he went and fell for Sirius on me. I know that sounds odd but I totally did not ship Wolfstar in the beginning when I started writing this. I've said before about characters when I write, I like to let them sort of develop and make choices along the way - so I'll have major plot points pre-chosen, but they make choices in a way in how a character develops and their reactions sort of come naturally and though the fight with Evan Rosier was planned, the way Remus has reacted to being bullied and the whole storyline with his feelings and all that have totally been off the path for what I planned. We'll see how Sirius reacts because I've had some stuff planned for him for some time, too....

I feel for Remus not being able to sort out his feelings, it has to be hard to determine whether it's friendship or love. I hope he is able to be true to himself as Dumbledore told him.

Author's Response: It's been really rough writing the way he's being treated; but everything I've had them say to him are real things that were common slurs in the 70s. :( Stupid bullies.
