Author's Response: Me too!! I'm so very excited... Stayed out until after 1am getting it at Barnes & Noble last night. The whole store front to back started singing Happy Birthday to Harry at midnight and I started crying. All I could think if *IF HARRY WAS REAL AND HE COULD HEAR THIS RIGHT NOW...* and then I thought about Jo Rowling and her story and how touched she would be to hear all the Happy Birthdays and AAHHH completely lost it. I mean we all knew that Petunia was jealous of Lily but this really showed it. I feel that's why she is so bitter, because she wanted to be like her sister. Hearing a background story for Snape was awesome too as he's my favorite character. Awesome so far :)
Author's Response: Snape's one of my all time fav characters too. He was my absolute favorite until I started in writing this... Honestly, after all the research and thinking and everything I've done for this story, Sirius has taken a very deep rooted place in my heart, as have James, Lily, and Remus. ... Lily and Petunia aren't twins officially in canon - Petunia's older, though no source knows by how much, which is why I chose to make them twins here. Petunia's jealousy at Lily and her relation to the wizarding world and Sirius and eventually James was one of the main storylines I wanted to explore (there's more about Petunia/Lily Petunia/Snape and Petunia/James to come in future chapters).

Okay so I keep seeing this in most recent and I do not know why I never clicked on it but I love this. I never read HP fic usually but this is almost as if JK wrote it herself. I always love your writing skills and this story is no exception. I am gonna try reading the whole thing and I love it so far. Love how detailed this is as well. It's like reading a real Harry Potter book.
