Author's Response: I assume you're asking if atrophy happens in real life? And, the answer is yes. I have RA and DJD and if I don't move my joints regularly and allow them to lock, my muscles will shrivel and I won't be able to use my joints any longer. You can even look up atrophy in a medical dictionary... Hope I answered your question and thanks for reviewing.
