awwww! that was sweet. I never put it together that it was valentines day either. I would totally cry (I'm a crybaby) if someone ever did something sweet like that for me. but my husband and I barely even acknowlegde Valentine's day in our house. -lol

But I didn't really understand what was so wrong about chapter 143? Maybe the fact that Nick turned on the light whitout her permission. If my boyfriend did something like that, I'd also freak out a bit. LOL!
But I think almost everyone knows that Nick didn't do it to make V feel uncomfortable. He just wasn't thinking anything wrong behind it.
That's my guess. =)

I'm gonna admit this right now... I cried reading this chapter. I'm like sitting here saying to myself.. why can't there be a guy like THAT here for me... lol And didn't I tell you that this is why Veronica ran out.. cause she didn't want Nick to look at her body.. It's just the way Nick did the whole thing that was wrong. Oh I loved this chapter V and I can't wait to read more.. I would have comment yesterday but AC was being a butt and my computer was too... I'm getting a new one soon!! YAY!

Author's Response: Aww you cried! That's an honor. Yeah, it seemed fitting considering her hang ups with her body and all and it's just ten times worse with him. Mmm...I don't know that Nick handled it wrong, it wasn't meant to be where he was moving fast, it was really a matter of enhancing the sensations and the feelings, that was and still is my intention with that particular part. I think readers construde it as him ya know, going too fast for her, but it wasn't done out of enjoyment for him in the sick sense, but more to make the whole thing more intense for Veronica. In any case, thanks V!

hmmm ok answer to your question - I think everything was fine until the light came on, so I was thinking she must have some sort of scar maybe that makes her feel ugly, which could also be linked to why Nick was her first coz she never wanted to show off her body.

Okay I think the way that V was acting was to be expected. But I understand where V is coming from I like How Nick was very sweet in telling her that she does look beautiful. I think in a way Nick was telling her that dont listen to what others have to say unless its good. I put myself in V cause I see a lot of myself in V. V Loves Nick and Nick Loves V. But V is so used to what has always been told to her in her life growing up. I get the feeling Nick will break that mold for V. Nick cares for V. and V is to blind to see it. I loved this chapter it was very sweet and it got me teary eyed and I wish I had a man like Nick. Great Update.
