Author's Response: Yea it is a tough call because on one hand she's angry and wants Shayla to pay, but on the other she probably really doesn't want to go through a trial and all that. Good update and I'm excited for the final 2 chapters and the sequel. I am OVER depressed/unstable Alyssa and the therapy sessions. I can't wait till the story picks back up and everything is about them again.
Author's Response: Thank you for you honesty. To tell you the truth so am I which is probably why these last few chapters have been so slow to churn out. My next chapter was SUPPPOSED to be my last, but one of my betas pointed out that I probably needed at least another chapter. Next one hopefully should not be AS long and it will have a therapy scene, but it'll be a more positive one. Thanks for reading!

WOW! This was a great Chapter Mel! Lyss is really opening up both to Julia and to Nick. And Nick is so sweet to her!
I am so glad that she now remembers what happened the night she fell. I was really hoping that she would remember Shayla pushing her. And I am super happy that she doesn't have to blame herself anymore.
As for you story notes....of course I am still interested! This is my favorite story on the site! I can't wait for the end.....so we can move on to the sequal! GREAT UPDATE!!!

I hope Lyss starts to get her confidence back. I know how difficult to can be! I was a size 2 before I got pregnant and was a 10 when I delieved. It took me 15 months to get back to my pre pregnancy wieght! I am now 7 lbs lighter that before I got pregnant, but I only wear a four....the hips just won't go back in a two!!! SO I understand feeling UNSEXY in her new body! It sucks for sure!!!
I am looking forward to Nick and Lyss finally connecting again. I hope we get to see that before this installment ends....

Haha Yea... I've heard some crazy things about strip aerobics being an awesome workout. I thought Alyssa could use something fun like that to get her groove back so to speak and who knows? Maybe some of those moves might come in handy in like the sequel lol *winks*
I knew that you would understand Alyssa's body issues being a mother yourself and having gone through the whole pregnancy thing. Most people I know who have been pregnant said that getting your body back is like the hardest thing and it has to be even harder on Alyssa because she doesn't even have the baby to make it all worthwhile. I'm glad she didn't come off as whiny and you could see this was definitely hard for her.
As for Lyss and Nick reconnecting... Well keep reading. I know the story has been kind of Nickless lately, but I can promise you a Nick/Lyss scene next chapter and after that the last chapter is all them. Thanks so much Brandy!

This chapter was interesting. I can kinda relate to the whole aspect of "finding the other person more attractive than yourself" which leads to major insecurities. I always say he's too good for me which is probably a reallllllly bad attitude. Today he told me I was adorable and I had to actually stop myself from going oh yea right, cause I knew rejecting the compliment probably wasn't smart. So this chapter was kinda theorapy for me too lol however...I doubt I'll be pole dancing anytime soon. nice job!
Author's Response: I swear I'm not although I now find some of JT's music tolerable *hides* And I even have some on my iPod. Darby suggested this title and I just loved it cuz its exactly what Alyssa needs to do before she can bring herself to be w/ Nick. She's gotta believe that she is attractive and sexy enough for Nick to want to be with her, something she is doubting. It was an interesting chapter though I think and pretty important. The fact that she thinks Nick is WAAAY hotter than herself is a HUGE problem for them and has always been. Alyssa constantly sabotages herself cuz she's afraid she doesn't deserve Nick. I don't take compliments well either so I know how you feel. I'm glad you could relate!

Poor Alyssa...as if she doesn't have enough to deal with, the body image issue that most new moms have to deal with rears its ugly head...and she has no baby to show for it. I can't think of much worse things that could happen. I think you did a great job writing this, you really show us how she is feeling and I could really understand and sympathize with Alyssa. Bless her sweet girls for taking her to that strip class,it was just what she needed...started a chain reaction that I really hope keeps going!
