Author's Response: Well there are 9 chapters left. A lot can happen in 9 chapters and a lot will. They all have valid points, don't they? Nick was harsh, but he needed to be and you are right he's scared and vulnerable and we know Nick doesn't like showing that side of himself to others. I will try to update soon. We'll see!

Let me act like the only adult around here : At least Alyssa shouldn't use someone who lives on the base for the lie, Sean is SURE to find out. Even though, maybe this is what she really wants subconsciously. And even though I know I should feel bad for Alyssa, I kind don't. If she is that scared of Sean, she can just leave most of her stuff there for him to burn and tell him in a public place. It's not like NIck couldn't hire bodyguard to watch them from afar or something. And Nick was mean, but it was somehow deserved (I know SHOCKING coming from me huh?).
Anyways, can't wait to read more !!

What the hell, Sean?! Disallowing her from going to the party? I mean I guess I understand his reasons but STILL! What a dick thing to do. Oh well... And Nick too. Author's Response: Yea it's pretty extreme of him to do, but think about his psychological state. He's kind of paranoid. I thought Nick was harsh too in some places, but it did need to be said. Plus Nick was saying a lot of what he said out of hurt and betrayal. Haha and don't worry there's plenty of torture for Alyssa up ahead lol. Thanks for the b-day wishes Steph!

Ooh...good stuff...and the plot thickens. What is up with Sean being all controlling? I understand where everyone (even Sean) is coming from in this one. And yeah, Nick's words...a leeetle harsh, but he is afraid of losing everything, and he has a lot to lose, even more than Alyssa really.

Author's Response: Yes it does... I think Sean is overly paranoid about Nick and plus with the PTSD it makes him more controlling. It's tough because everyone has their sides in this one and everyone has a good reason for reacting the way they do. Nick was harsh at times, but you are right on the money about him. Haha slave driver! :)
