yay!!! I got back on after four days with no enternet to find a new chapter!!!!
I understand Aylssa is pregnant and all, but seriously her mood swings....OMG!!! I don't think I ever had them that bad, and trust me mine were bad.
I feel so bad for Nick here. It always seems to me that he is giving into what Aylssa wants. It never seems that she gives into him. Kind of seems unfair.
But hey he lets her do it. I also don't see this plutonic thing working out to well, but at the same time, Sean should be coming home really soon.
Oh yeah! Finally another flash back to Katie (right?) and for a second I thought we were going to get details on the accident. I think I have pretty much decided that it was a wreck, right?
Anyways, great job!!!!
BTW.....Gustav didn't kill me :)

Glad you know that you're still alive Brandy LOL. Yes, I will admit that Alyssa's mood swings were a lil on the extreme side in this chapter (to put it mildly lol) but seriously in her defense not only is she pregnant, but one of her friends just died and the affair was beginning to get really deep and stressful, so I guess you can almost expect her to be a total basket case. We'll have to see how this new arrangement works out with them, but yes... Sean will be coming home. SOON.
And yay for mentioning the flashback. Yea, that was about Katie. I know that it seemed kind of random and it was very vague, but there is one more flashback scene left and that's the one where everything comes out although you can almost piece it together by now.

I adore this chapter, glad I could help a bit! I can't wait for what is to come. This was such a tough chapter because it brings so many of the issues that Nick and Alyssa can inevitably face to the forefront. I think people never anticipate the feelings of guilt! Yea it was a bitch to write, but thankfully the next few chapters are going to be a lot more action packed and less emotional. I've had some prett heavy ones lately. It needed to be written though to set them up for the climax. Thanks again sweetie for everything!

Aww I'm sorry Brandy. I am halfway through the next chapter, but the past few days have been nutso. It was my best friends b-day on Fri and lots of Labor Day/end of summer get togethers... Some personal drama I had to deal with and now tomorrow is my Dad's b-day. I'm on call for jury duty and school starts again on Wed. My b-day is coming up on the 9th... So lots of stuff going on! I will try to get an update out soon though.

lol im a douche and never actually noticed the chapter title so everything about this chapter was 100% unexpected to me lol oops. that was a sad chapter though. :'( but I hope alyssa doesn't start pushing Nick away because of this. I think she loves him too much, but emotions can be confusing sometimes and when you start questioning your actions.. it gets even more confusing lol. I guess we'll find out soon!! awesome chapter as usual.

Thanks for the update.
Just had a bad feeling the other day while reading this. I pray that the dream Alyssa had about Sean killing Nick was just a dream and not a premonition, casue that would really ruin this story. I hope that you take the story in another direction. I guess I'll find out sooner or later
Author's Response: Hmm... Sean killing Nick? That would definitely be an interesting turn of events, but I can assure that I would not kill off Nick. There's too much story there. That dream was more to foreshadow the whole situation and just how bad it COULD get. The final showdown won't be AS bad, but they'll be some pretty harsh things said. I can't wait to get to it.
