Ok... with that chapter you almost made me feel bad for Shayla... But I just love Nick and Alyssa so, go on, i won't feel pity for the wife anymore!
Anyway, I really love to see a face to face meeting between Alyssa and Angel... would love to see a reaction on both side once Alyssa will find out that Nick hat talked to his sister about their relationship...

Oohh such a good chapter! I love that Nick and Alyssa are doing all the Christmas stuff together, so cute! I love that Nick is so into the Chritmas spirit, decorating the condo just for them and finding the perfect Chritmas tree. Now the early Chritmas gift to Alyssa, I totally died! That was so romantic and uh I was speechless! I loved Nick even more if its possible, Lol! But for some reason in the back of my head I have this feeling that its gonna blow up in their faces, but hopefully Im wrong! Alyssa spending Christmas with Nick and Shayla= not a good idea! I understand that Nick doesnt want her to spend Christmas alone but it might be a little to much. Oh I was totally in awe at the end when Shayla called the private detective... I dont think the affair is going to be a secret for much longer and maybe even who Alyssa's baby daddy really is! Great job Mel!

OK....I must admit, I felt a tinsy bit bad for Shayla in this chapter. It seems to me that she really is trying to make things work with Nick. However, I did want to smack her with her comment about Alyssa gift.
We do Christmas the exact same way at my house. Everyone draws a name and you open a gift from that person on Christmas Eve. It is usually a lot of fun.
I am glad that most of Nicks family made Alyssa feel welcome. I expected Angel to be rude, but it seems as though she doesn't really like anyone.
I was half expecting Shayla to be evesdropping outside Alyssa room when Nick went to see her, and I can't believe that Lyss didn't get pissed about walking in on them.....I found that kind of out of character, but in a good way.
Great Job Mel, although, I hate the long waits, I can't wait to read your updates!!!!

A lot of people felt sympathy for Shayla which is okay lol. I did want to show that she IS hurt and that's going to be the reason why she does and says a lot of things in the future. Her comment about Alyssa's gift was pretty bitchy though lol, I couldn't resist.
That's really cool that you do Christmas Eve that way. My family doesn't give presents out at all on Christmas Eve, but I know a lot od people who do and I wanted to do a lil gift giving this chapter, so I thought that would be a cute idea.
Angel was rude to both Alyssa AND Shayla if you noticed, but remember... She's lost respect for both women after Nick has confided in her. You'll have to keep reading to see if she comes around. And I'm glad that you liked the fact that Alyssa didn't get pissed catching Nick w/ Shayla. The old Alyssa would've flipped out and that would be the end. The now older and wiser Alyssa realizes that in the situation she has no right to tell Nick he can or cannot sleep w/ his wife. Plus I think the ridiculousness of the situation and the fact that Shayla wasn't doing anything for him softened the blow a lot.

Great chapters, I fell a little behind so I caught up a few chapters so I'm still reading :)
I'm just a little confused why Alyssa is hanging around her house if she's leaving Sean, she should move into the condo because she's gonna have to anyways.
I have no clue what she should get Sean.
The drama is about to go down with the detective! Oh boy! :)

It would make sense for Alyssa to move into the condo, but as she pointed out to Nick it would look strange to all her neighbors and to move at this stage of the game would be too much. Also she may be holfing back just a tad bit. You'll have to keep reading! Yes lots of drama about to hit the fan in another few chapters.

I finally got all caught up, and wow that is a lot of drama and confusing emotions! Of course I loved every word! The romantic side of me is totally rooting for Alyssa and Nick, it seems like things are finally coming together for them and they're both finally able to be in a realtionship with each other. Of course, this newfound uh.. maturity if you will couldn't have come at a worse time. I can only imagine how Sean is going to react to this news, as well as everyone else they know. There is definitely going to be a huge media scandal.. which isn't going to healthy for Alyssa's pregnancy at all. = Hopefully things don't get too bad for them (though I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to read more uber drama!) And Shayla is hiring a detective to spy on Nick?! Dude, I freakin love that! Man, that is going to be fun to read, and ergh she is such a crazy. I mean, it's clear hers and Nick's marriage is failing, she obviously doesn't trust him (with good reason I guess, but still even back to the whole fake pregnancy thing) so I really think things need to end for them regardless if Alyssa were in the picture or not. That was a really long review.. but I hope you kind of got the point of all my rambling haha. Can't wait for your next update!!

I must admit, I haven't read Nick Carter fan fic in years, but this story totally has me hooked! I check back for updates daily. By far one of the best stories I've ever read.
I really do hope all ends well for Nick and Alyssa. There a great couple, defiantly worth routing for!

Christmas tree shopping is my favorite thing about Christmas. I always had a real tree growing up, but my husband and I have added a new tradition. Every year we go to a tree farm and cut down our own tree. It is so much fun. It was a lot of fun when I lived in VA and there would actually be snow on the ground. It never snows in SoCal or Louisiana, so now we just get to be cold....
I knew Shayla would end up doing something sneaky like hiring a P.I..... I know that she really hasn't given us a whole lot of reasons to hate her (with the exception of the fake pg thing) but I really can't stand her. It is probably because I just have it made up in my mind that she doesn't belong with Nick.. I don't feel sorry for her at all. Unlike with Sean, I don't feel like she is a victim. I feel like she deserves what she is getting....IS that bad of me?
Anyways, I soooo can't wait for the show down at Christmas...I know that has got to be some drama there.
Oh yea..... Nick is now my hero...setting up the extra nursery is just the sweetest thing ever. If I were Lyss I would have had my way with him right then..... Ummmm If I were Lysss....nevermind don't get me started. LOL

I've always had a real tree every Christmas too. Alyssa's explanation about tree shopping her family? Comes completely from my own experience only there's four of us kids, so it's prolly even harder. My Dad is so anal when it comes to selecting a tree sometimes it takes all day lol. He's always wanted to go and chop down his own tree like you guys do.
It's okay for you dislike Shayla. I tried not to make her as much of a villian as just a woman who is desperate to keep her husband. But in BSB fan fic I think its only normal to want to hate the woman standing in the way of the happy couple even if she isn't really all that bad. Lucky for you though, she will do some pretty effed up things in upcoming chapters, so you'll be able to hate her soon enough lol.
Christmas should be interesting. It'll have its dramaful moments. And yes Nick is like the perfect man. It was tempting to have Lyss jump him, but I needed to get to everything else without splitting chapters again. Although she did jump him afterwards only it was only a mention that it happened. Oh, well... You may get something next chapter just prolly not what you're expecting :)~

Wowza...explosive, huge chapter! I love the nursery - big meaning in a small gesture. Shows that he is ready for the next step and ready for her and the babes to make the condo their home. Lots of meaning in that, it will also help make her and the baby's transition from Sean & her home easier. Also shows that he is ready for her to be there with him. I love that they are doing family-ish things together.
Now onto Shayla...I was beginning to wonder if she thought anything about the time he spent away from home or if she knew who he was with. I would be upset if I was her too!!! The fallout from all of this will be beautifully explosive...I can't wait to read about Christmas and see what the PI comes up with!

It is cute seeing them do things like they're a married couple like pick out a Christmas tree and decorate the house.
