Aww I loved how Nick finally put his feelings out there. Not one hundred per cent annoyed with Alyssa about rejecting him though. After all what did he really expect after all the crap he has put her through over the years.
I know she loves Sean but I think deep down she loves Nick more. I'm intrigued about your banner with the stairway on it. Stairway to heaven maybe? Is she going to even get the chance to come clean to sean?
I'm so in love with this story! It's awesome. Keep up the good work!

I'm REALLY glad you are seeing Alyssa's side too because I feel lately readers are hating on her again. I think it would be incredibly unrealistic for them to just run off together. It would be nice, but they need to go through more together. Alyssa needs to SEE that Nick loves her. I agree that she prolly has deeper feelings for Nick, but don't expect her to be as ready to admit to them as in UMS.
And about the stairway I'm SOOO glad you noticed. Of course there is a reason for them being there. The stairs will play a part later on in the story. I love your prediction though. You'll just have to see if you're right or not.

The garter landing on Nick's bottle was absolutely hilarious! I really felt bad for he and Alyssa though, when he was confessing his feelings to her. You can tell that they've both really grown up and matured a lot. As you said, it's pretty ironic that the tables have turned now. I hope that things work out for them, because they really do care for each other even after all the drama that has surrounded their relationship. That has got to mean something, right? Great chapter, Mel :)

I have been waiting like forever to find out what happened to katie.....looks like we are gonna find out soon. I think this is the first chapter in a while that I haven't felt like slapping Aylssa upside the head.....can't wait for part two of the wedding......hope it is SOON!!!

There's so many elements to this story, it must be hard to keep track of everything but its cool how each chapter intertwines yet its almost like there's 2 or 3 different stories being told just to get to one final ending. you keep things interesting thats for sure lol nice update!

Oh God... Sometimes I'm pulling my hair out for deciding on a story this complex. It sure is a bitch, but I'm trying to see it through. I've contemplated writing a prequel to UMS which would be everything in like their previous relationship from like 2000 -2002, but I'm not sure because it would almost feel like going backwards. I like both of them a lot better now lol. Anyway I do try to intertwine stuff as much as possible so I'm glad that you appreciate the complexity.
And oh ya lol Alyssa is SO going to hell. Not only is she thinking about sex in a church, but hello? She's having her ex b/f's baby while her husband is over in Iraq? I'd say that pretty much condems her LOl
