OMG... Great chapter (I can't really blame Alyssa, because she IS trying to keep it as a one night stand) but how HOT is Nick being whipped?
And.. Alyssa is SOOOOOOO pregnant !
Nick should definitely divorce and try to live by himself, but I can tell that once Alyssa decides to do everything to keep things with Sean, Nick will decide to stay with his wife... :( Anyways, another great chapter and I can't wait to read some more !

Oh man, intense. Poor Sean, he hasn't got a clue. Being deployed to Iraq and his wife cheating on him? Harsh. I'm glad Alyssa woke up and realized what she'd done. It shows that she's not completely heartless LOL.. I can see her predicament though. Finally things with Nick look like they possibly could work, and yet she still has her marriage. I dunno, I love her and Nick together but this really is going to be a disaster LOL because you know that since it's happened once Nick is going to want more! Awesome stuff Mel, keep it coming!

Amazing! A lot more intense then I thought it would be, Alyssa will eventually have to tell Shaun I think. She can't keep that from him.
I have a feeling that she is going to get pregnant and not know who's it is but with all the conceiving trouble she is going to think it's Nick when it could be Shauns!

We'll have to see. Hehe Poor girl isn't even pregnant yet (to your knowledge) and she already has babby daddy drama LOL

Wow, poor Alyssa, this really messed her up. Things are "easier" for Nick since he's divorcing Shayla but for Alyssa, this is realy tough and worst, she's realizing about the strong connection they share now that they've been apart from each other and changed. I think a secret like this is gonna be very hard to keep, I mean the truth always comes out, sooner or later, we'll just have to see what happens when that does. Good chappie, i wanna know what'll happen next. Update soon :D
Author's Response: It did mess her up more than I think she realized it would at the time. You're right Nick really does get off easier not just because he's got one foot out the door with Shayla, but also because he's the "man" and unfortunately when a man cheats its like Oh yea that's a guy for you. But when a woman cheats its SOOOO much worse because she has to deal with the stigma of being labeled a whore. So yea I'd say it definitely is harder on Alyssa. You're right... The truth always comes out, but the question is when?

Oh dear! This is really really hard on her. She doesn't wanne hurt him but on the other hand her thoughts are soooooo somewhere else. I do think it will break Alyssa at one point. Sean putting so much pressure on her, and not only with the baby thing but also with being deployed. And then there's Nick. She still has strong feelings for him.
I don't know where this is going but I know it's good! I hope that Alyssa and Nick find their ways back to each other. But I guess I'll have to find that out later in the story...

Well... it's kinda normal for Alyssa to feel like that. I would too, honestly. But I can't wait for the moment when she has to face Nick again. They have to talk and clear things between them. In a way I feel bad for Sean, he doesn't know what's going on, but I have a feeling that he won't have anymore Alyssa's heart. And if Nick's in the way, i see more and more problems.
And Nick... man! I hope you take this in a positive way, but the changes in him, the new Nick, is soo sweet, and I find him funny too! He really thinks he's done with his wife, and he's already thinking (or at least is starting to) about him and Alyssa. I see him falling for the girl again, and this time I think he will fall BIG time for her. She's the woman he's always wanted, and i don't think he would let her slip away again. He's changed, she's changed. That must be lead to something good! I just pray that Nick won't fall for some of Shayla's trick...
I can't wait to see what happen next! Keep up the extremely good work!

It IS normal. I really wanted to show a realistic reaction and I think that if I was in that situation I'd feel just as guilty as Alyssa. Facing Nick again is definitely going to be interesting, but won't happen again until the chapter after next. It is easy to feel bad for Sean because he's so oblivious, but I think he definitely feels the gap between him and Alyssa.
And I DEFINITELY take the changes you see in Nick as a positive comment. I'm so happy that you're seeing how much more mature he is. I love seeing my characters grow and evolve. It makes me feel like a proud Mommy lol. I think this time around Nick will be a lot smarter and more open with his feelings and if anyone resists it'll be Alyssa for a change. But you're right... Shayla is still not out of the pcture yet...

Great chapter to bad Alyssa has to feel the way she does I know that has to be hard. But if she's having to fake things with Sean that right there should be a sign, but I think it's good og her to try to get some help. Which to me I don't think will help if she even thinks things with Nick are better. Can't wait for more!!!

If things between her and Sean were the way they were supposed to be she shouldn't have to fake anything (both inside and OUTside of the bedroom) But of course Alyssa is not the type who could just up and leave Sean which will make things even more complicated. Hot hot hot! I didn't expect them to do it so soon, but you really can tell that there's still feelings there that go beyond the physical level. The fact that Sean has been a bit of a douche doesn't exactly excuse Alyssa from cheating on him with her ex... but you know I love Alyssa and Nick together, so who am I to judge? lol ...i have a feeling Shayla's not quite out of the picture yet, since she and Nick aren't even divorced yet, so I wonder what would happen if/when she finds out about this... Great job Mel! I'm looking forward to reading the emotional aftermath of this rendezvous :D
