Author's Response: HAHA! I know its frustrating, I want to bash thir heads together as well BUT it does make for an interesting read! It's going to be a few more chapters before I really delve in to that side again but be pateint because it is going to be well worth the wait!

Author's Response: I think it's difficult for Nick to get past his misconception about family life though and as much as he wants them to be a family he also wants to put Matilda first. He wants to do the thing his parents never did.rnrnI think to some extent Shannon does understand, and she to is scared of starting a relationsip because of the abuse she suffered, she's been treated pretty badly in the past and has got a lot of walls to break down, they both have!rnrnThanks for the review!

Ahhhh...what an amazingly frustrating chapter. So close...yet so far. I totally understand why, but I am still frustrated that they can't just admit their feelings!!!
I love Nick and the ice cream...hilarious, reminds me of how we (as in gals) are when it comes to this stuff. I love that he recognized the bond between the other couple and longed for that. I also love that he is wanting to put his daughter's needs first.
BUT...I want them to be together...ugh!

Author's Response: Thanks I do try to keep you guys guessing! I know its very frustrating, it's frustrating for me to write! I thought the ice cream idea was what was needed. Originally it was just going to be a Nick and AJ scene but I incorperated Rachel in as well just to give it the more motherly depth. Author's Response: My uncle makes them like that. Whenever there is a significant event he is usually always there with his camera and then he makes these awesome DVD's that we can keep. It's much nicer then just a photo album.
