I am not usually a cliffie kind of girl...but if I didn't seperate this chapter and the next chapter it would have been WAY too much. Plus, I think having Jake pop out of nowhere at the end like that was good...and it is giving you guys a chance to run through some what ifs. Jake has been popping into converstations/columns throughout a lot of this story, especially recently...there is a lot more to come so stay tuned!

I loved it. I love how Nick opened up and the whole date and how he was a gentleman about the whole thing. It totally freaked Quinn but maybe thats what she needs right now. It's not about the sexual connection anymore, they know they have that, they have to work out if they work without the sex! Nick is very smart!

Of course she doesn't have commitment issues...ha, right! The conversations between AJ and Nick are becoming my favorites to write, so expect to see more of them, especially in the next few chapters while Nick is taking a different approach to things with Quinn. Things are definitely going to heat up between them before he goes on tour...we will see how strong he really is!!! There are a few surprises coming up so stay tuned! As if he didn't sleep with her! Hmm.. what is Nickers planning I wonder? Perhaps he is trying to get her interested in "the chase" like he was before.. and not give in to her each time like she expects him too. Interesting. Their whole date was really sweet, and I'm glad that they've started opening up to each other. Hopefully now things can progress between them. Can't wait for the next update! :)
Author's Response: I know...shocker...the man has willpower, we have to remember that the last time they were "together" was in Vegas...so it has been a LONG time. I think he is definitely trying to change the landscape of things...his reasoning and true plan remain to be seen. There was definitely some progress made on the opening up front, but they still have a long way to go. There is a TON more to come, lots of drama - which I know you love! LOL I heart AJ! He's seriously my favorite supporting character next to Riley. I loved the date. I thought it was good they talked about what they did. (Especially marriage! Nice controversial topic Nickers!) Those two are seriously two peas in a pod. Alot of their issues are very, very similar! All in all great work sweets!
Author's Response: AJ is becoming my favorite character...I have told you many times that I think that him and Riley are the conscience of this story in a lot of ways. This whole chapter came out WAY different than I had originally expected and the marriage thing, I was even like WTF when I wrote it.
