Author's Response: Thanks, Mary! I struggled so much with getting started on this chapter, specifically the column. I started it once and trashed most of it because it came out too girl power. I was happy with the rewrite and once I got going on this chapter, it just flew out of me. Loved this chapter! Nick is such a sweetheart. I like how he's taking such an interest in her life and her writings. It is definitely moving things forward, without being too obvious, you know? Her column really interested me. I really liked how she opened up a little and explained some of her apprehensions of getting into a relationship. Great job hun! Oh, I'm also mucho excited to read about New York, that should be good times. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Nick is definetly in trouble here! He has fallen hard. I think Quinn is starting to let her gaurd down though, what with all the Mom talk and stuff.
I do think that when the time comes though that she isnt going to recipricate his feelings straight away. I mean if she did where is all the drama in that?
It's not a good Nick story uness he gets his heart trampled on first! LOL!

Remember, Quinn hasn't told her anything about it really, so now that they both know she has seen it with her own eyes it may open up that line of communication. So glad that you could visualize it all...my goal was to shed some insight into Quinn's personality through her house, and I wanted to do it through Nick's eyes, since he was learning about her as he walked through her house. Whew, that was amazing! The beginning was hot hot hot! The thing with the necktie was clever. Nick's pet name for her is super cute :) And I really liked the fact that Quinn opened up to Nick a little, their is definitely some progress being made in their relationship. That's really sad about her mom though. Also, Riley walking in on them was really funny. I really loved this chapter, great job! *muah*
