Uh! Forgot to mention how sweet it is, that Howie looked up Quiin and her writing online...He's definitely looking out for Nick, but in a very respectable way. Such a lovely guy he is!
Howie's never really said me anything until I saw him at the Unbreakable concert. Suddenly I was like "Howard, what happend to you?". A live altering moment for sure, lol!

Hey! Another great update - it's getting pretty interesting, especially with Nick's confessing his true feelings - sounds like Nick is in for the long haul no matter what Quinn says!!
I was a bit confused in the beginning, as I thought we were still in Dallas, lol. Time goes by quick when you live in the grey zone appearently!! Glad to see that they both have been busy texting each other, when they werent together!
Poor Howie, Nick just keeps on throwing him surprise after surprise - brilliant!
At least Nick has Quinn's column to stick to, as Quin is very contradicting in what she says and do. I'm wondering if something major has happend to her prior to meeting Nick since she is do adapt on living in the grey zone. She reminds me of Meredith from Grey's Anatomy; "I'm an avoid'der, it's what I do"... Can't help but think that someone has got to give soon...? Wonder if Quinn will go to the release party??

Author's Response: I had never really thought about the comparison to Meredith on Grey's...interesting. I have talked a little bit about Quinn's background, she has pretty much lived a charmed life and things have come pretty easily for her. There are a couple events that I have referred to here and there that have had a PROFOUND impact on who she is. Sorry to confuse you on the timeline. I try to use the columns/blogs as a time reference. You are right, what Quinn says and what she does are two different things...this might cause things to get even more interesting. I am loving this story, I have to say. You do a great job at furthering the story without giving up too much too soon, but the way you've drawn everything out still keeps everyone interested. It's a great balance, and it's refreshing to see because so many authors get caught up in prolonging their stories that the actual story gets sacrificed just because. I am excited to see how you're going to go ahead with the plot, keep it up! :)

LOL okay, Nick blowing off the waitress actually made me laugh out loud because I saw a video kind of like that, where some chick was coming on to Nick, and he was completley ignoring her by texting on his phone. Haha! Nick and Quinn in the hotel room wee adorable, it's sweet how careful Nick is not to step over the line with Quinn. Also, the fact that they aren't using condoms kind of shows that they've got a level of trust that they might not realzie is there. Hmm, this could start to get very interseting indeed! Great update girlie! Can't wait for more :)
Author's Response: Really? Too funny...fantasy imitating reality I guess. Nick is very aware of Quinn's boundaries, even though his only knowledge of her issues comes from reading her writing and her behavior. The condom thing MAY come up later...you know me, throwing little things in here and there. Glad you liked it!

Lovely update! This is my favourite chapter so far, and that's saying alot!! I've been sitting with the biggest smile on my face while reading, and I've basically turned to mush now I'm done reading!!
Quinn and Nick are just the cutest when together- I really need to find myself a guy like that! Nick is just amazing the way he tries to show Quinn his feelings without directly telling her, e.g. making conversation with her friends and inviting her to stay - just perfect!
Also, loved Howie and Courtney playing "babysitters".

Hey! Loved the new chapter! Nick's feelings for Quinn must be quite deep judging by Howie's observations! Loved how Nick and Quinn interacted with eachother -- too cute! Loved that Quinn is too stubborn to admit that they are actually dating a bit. If it was just "Casual" I'm qurssing she would also be seeing other guys... Hopefully a beautiful relationsship is in the cards, though it may be awhile!! Looking forward to read what happens later on in the evening and also what Howie really thinks of Quinn, and her being with Nick!!
Just a random thought, but I would love to have Quinn's clothes -- And her shoes!!! Been noticing that it sounds truly amazing when you describe it, lol!!
Was wondering who the woman on the banner is... Heidi Klum? Love the pic of Nick!! Maybe you could make more banners? Maybe one for each chapter, though it takes time... Just a suggestion, but I personally love to see pictures of the characters so the story becomes more "real"...
But as long as you keep the updates coming and them being as wonderful as this, then I'm happy ;o)

The actress is in the picture is Ali Larter - she is on Heroes and was the whipped cream bikini girl in Varsity Blues. rn
rnYou can definitely expect more going ons from Dallas in my next update. As for a relationship, we will just have to wait and see what happens...I am not even sure exactly what will happen at this point!
