I love Nick and Quinn, and I love how they come out in this chapter. It's wonderfully written and you can really feel the tension and awkwardness between them. I'm so glad that Nick finally opened up to her and that he told her he loved her. It's good that all of these things are out in the open now. I love how you ended the chapter with Quinn saying that their life together begins now. This was a great update, my friend! So happy you were able to find some time to write :)

Darby! So excited that you updated, woohoo!! Though it has been here for a while and I am just reading it now. Either way, definitely happy to see that it started with a column :o) I liked how it gave us some insight to Quinn's past and her first heartbreak. I also like how that mirrors her relationship with Nick and how she still refers to him as her "sailor".. always leaving for long periods of time, but sure enough he comes back to her. Speaking of Nick I enjoyed his conversation with AJ and his protectiveness of Quinn and not wanting to dig overly deep into their issues with him. AJ seems like he knows how to push Nick's buttons in just the right way. But I hope it gives Nick (and Quinn) the push in the right direction. Still adoring this!

I enjoyed this chapter very much, Quinn and Nick still have a lot of things to sort out.
It doesn't matter how long it takes to finish this story (hopefully not anytime soon), just don't leave us hanging for another year.

I hope you didn't hurt yourself :o) It feels great to write again! I am hoping it won't be another year. I'm not sure how many more chapters this story will have. In my original outline, it had 60, but I have changed some stuff and added things so I may need to take some things out. It will probably still have 60 or so chapters. The last 5ish chapters came out a lot differently than I planned and I have a really big mess to clean up so it may be longer, who knows! But thank you for reading, I'm so glad you like it!

I love this story,I am so glad you updated. I told my friend that you did,my friend and I have read this story from the beginning but I just now decided to leave a review,I am so glad you are ok and decided to update this story,you write the charachters so indepth and it's nice to see,it's almost like we are there and we feel everything the charachters feel. This Chapter is wow! I didn't know how screwed up these two really are.I am glad Quinn made that suggestion to go to another hotel to give them both room to think and I really hope that helps them try to fix there relationship because through it all they are made for each other,they are like ying yang.Keep up the great work,love the chapter.

Thank you for your sweet words and for your review! Quinn and Nick are both super screwed up, and they continue to complicate things for me. When I sit down to write, the characters take over a lot of the tiem and I end up with a big mess I hadn't planned and that I have to figure out how to write my way out of!!! That is exactly what has been going on the past five chapters. There is still quite a bit more to their story...stay tuned! I hope to update much sooner next time. Thanks again!
