Awww, that makes me miss being in high school and I hated highschool. I was never into sports, more of a performing choir geek. LMAO. I loved the energy you had weaved through this chapter and I have to admit that even I was getting excited for their game. And Morgan is actually on the cheerleading squad now. I want to say that's awesome for her as long as she is doing it for the right reasons, but I have a nagging feeling that something still isn't right. Keep up the great work K! Roflmao over the gunfight!!!! My sister & I used to have dart guns, & then we'd water guns - I LOVE water guns!!!!! They're such GREAT fun! But, we'd never had toy shotguns or anything - & like Brian, we were told unless it's a water gun, you NEVER aim it at ANYONE. NO. MATTER. WHAT.

That sucks major.........for him to find out like that, especially when everyone and their momma already know. I love how he describes her, yay what I"ve been waiting for like forever, is coming out. Did you make up that cheer crazy? You weren't a cheerleader in school were you...cause I sure as hell was not feeling the cheerleaders in my school. I liked the cheer!lol I can already see the shy girl all confident shaking her thang and trying to avoid the awkwardness between her and BAylee. I loved this chapter it was very hyping (if that is a word...if not it is now) Good job!!
Author's Response: Yeah...it wasn't the most wonderful way for him to find out, but at least he knows, now! His descriptions were pretty...uh...thorough, weren't they? lol. Poor kid doesn't know what to think! Um...yes I was a rah rah and yes I made the cheers up. It's kinde cute to think of Morgan as the confident one instead of her normal shy self. Hopefully thier awkwardness will subside soon, so they can go back to being BFs!

first of all, I'm not sure what is up with Leighanne? She sounds like those overly protective mothers that think that what everyone else does is wrong, yet she loses Baylee at the store! HUM...! As for Baylee, I like that he finds out all the good things that Nick has done for him all along, it lets him know that Nick really does love him. Then the gun down was hilarious, I actually pictured those goofs and Nick he is just adorable *sigh* Nick!! I liked that Mason who is sooo quiet finally talked to Baylee about his feelings and his fears, i think I would be so damn scared to confront my father about my emotions towards him too. Especially with one so damn scary like Kevin...loved the chapter it was full of emotions. love ya!! Of course I dont' want to wait till next year to get an update *wink*

The boys just took over the whole thing...the gun fight wasn't even my idea, it was Baylee's! LMAO. They tend to invade my brain, a lot. “You want a piece of me…punk?!?” Nick licked his lips and tried to spin the gun in his hand. I laughed, as I watched the plastic tumble, to the floor.
Lmao, I can so totally picture Nick saying and doing that. The "gun fight" scene was very heart warming and a wonderful treat. It was nice for them to relax without realizing it and just forget about everything else for a few small moments, even if it was really childish. Childish moments are good.
I enjoyed the fact that Mason opened up so much to Baylee. He released some strong emotions, so much so that I just wanted to reach through the screen and pull him into a hug. Poor kid. Him and Baylee certainly have it rough, but the fact that their situations are very similar could be a positive for them. I just hope that Mason will be able to convey to Kevin everything he told Baylee.
