kay, so i have now learned my own lesson. dont read fics in public! maybe me crying is gods way of telling me i need to study hahaha. LOVED it, and the drug thing is such a shocker! when you said kris knew about it, i thought it was about abusing mason (which would still be pretty shocking), but WOW! LOVE....IT! *goes to study*

Damn Kev, drugs? That wasa complete shocker. For some reason I thought the plot would turn into a big jealously thing and envy of Nick, in his eyes, being a better parent for Baylee than him.
Though the irony of Kevin introducing AJ into drugs first, when Kevin was the one that knocked down AJ's door to prevent him from falling deeper in it and to seek help.
Hmmm... still trying to figure out how Nick bypassed Howie though
Author's Response: Lol, the plot regarding Kevin hasn't reached it's deepest point yet. Kev might be on drugs but there has to be reasons behind his reactions. Keep in mind he treated Brian badly regarding his parenting skills...this stems way deeper than just Nick.

LMAO...loved Mason talking back to his biological....thing...KEVIN! haha. Classic son irritating daddy. lol. Maine does sound beautiful. Never been there. Close to it...but never quite there. I can see Brians point about making AJ guardian. I was sure he would have considered him more though than what he did. Guess I was wrong, but he does have some decent reasoning behind his...reasons. lol. Awesome chapter. Love it so much!

Brian's journal entry made me sad, because you can tell he's just so frustrated over the whole situation. I'm glad that in the end, it seemed like he made the right choice regardless of how it came to be. Baylee praying was really really sweet :) And Kevin's on drugs?! I so did not see that one coming! What a freaking hypocrite (as he was the one that told AJ to shape up before going into rehab.. yadda yadda) Jeez! I sure hope he gets caught so that there's no court battle and so that Mason doesn't have to deal with that crap any longer. Gah, that drama! Great chapter girlie! Can't wait for the next one! :)

The whole point is to bring out Kevin's problem...if he was hiding his drug problems, clearly he would act as if he wasn't on them, thus needing to lecture AJ so that no one would question his own problem. lol.
