This chapter was so emotional. I feel for Baylee. I dont blame him for feeling unwanted and like a burden. Even though Im sure it was all a misunderstanding. Its funnny because this chapter is very similar to the epilogue of Not So Bad. I have it written...I just cant seem to get the last few chapters leading up to it out. *sigh* Anyways, another amazing chapter!!!
Author's Response: emotional seems to be the theme...according to the reviews, I seem to be making people cry fairly often. lol. the guys gotta figure it out eventually. but, then again, they are of the male species so who knows. *snicker* I hope that your writter's block will lift and you will be able to get it finished. that is one story on my "to read" list. i have been spending most of my free time writting lately and not doing much reading. *sigh* I'll get back into reading, soon, I'm sure. thanks so much for all your input. you're the best!

I think Nick is confused on how to be a friend as well as a parent is how Jane treated him. it is all he knows and that is what he is upset about. I do hope he thinks really hard about everything and forgets the past. please update asap thanks again

lmao at Nick turning into Kevin. That was hilarious. I still feel really awful for both of them though. I mean it's obvious Nick is just trying to do a good job with the responsibility that Brian gave him, but yeesh dude! He really needs to loosen up.
I also really like the fact that Baylee is still friends with Morgan despite her being less than popular at school. I think this speaks a lot about his character and that he's not totally superficial, unlike most boys his age. Lovely job Kristal! I've gotta say, I'm loving the constant updates =)
Author's Response: well...there is a reason I made the coment regarding Nick turning into Kevin. keep that in mind as you continue to read. rnrnBaylee became friends with her before popularity was an issue but it does show a lot that he has remained friends with her. I thank you for all your compliments. rnrnand the constant updates will continue until I start to loose steam or start running out of ideas...right now I can't even make sense of all the idea I have for this story and i hope you will continue to like it.

again, very well written! i love your use of Brian's journal. it gives the reader a much better view of Brian rather than someone talking about him. i like how Baylee is so protective of Morgan. love it!

Author's Response: oh I'm sure you are, at least, close on your suspicions. there are a few main things that could only be found out in the journal or something else of Brian's. but, yet, what EXACTLY is found, might be a bit different than what seems to be the obvious. thank you again for reading!
