Yeah, I don't blame Nick for being pissed, I've actually gotten mad about that whole undermining my authority issue. lmao I feel really bad for both of them I know Nick's missing Brian just as much as Baylee so it must be really hard. I think they need to go to family therapy. Please update soon!
Author's Response: UH! I have dealt with that problem myself! It's just too bad that Nick won't express wht he is feeling...it wouold probably help him conect with Baylee more. But noooo, not Nick, lol. I hadn't thought about professional help for them, lol. My mind was headed a different direction, but who know what'll happen.

ok now you got me cring I have to say this story is really good and I can not wait to see what is going to happen next. it also kind of funny that Nick is a parent. now. but at the same time I kind of understand why Brian picked Nick after all he is his best friend and he knew that Nick would never let Baylee ever forget his parents love for him. please update asap.

Aww the journal made me sad :( At least he's got something like that though, to look back on and learn more about his parents. I hope Nick gets his issues solved soon, whatever they may be. Also I'm interested to know if you'll make something more out of this Morgan character? That could be cause for some nice drama, woo! Loved it darlin!
Author's Response: well, the journal was supposed to be a window for Baylee to see his dad. Nick's issues may take a while...you know how Nick is, lol. As for Morgan...I'm not too sure about that. I figured I needed to bring in some friends from OUTSIDE the Backstreet family...after all Baylee IS Mr. Popularity at school. I am glad the you are continuing to like it. Author's Response: Nick's inability to "chill out" stems from somewhere, something, someone, or some event. the man trusts his friends but there are underlying reasons for his reactions and behavior. I supposed Nick would have changed on account of becoming Baylee's guardian. I can see where Baylee's perception of him would be changed, because he's more of a parental figure now. LOL Oh Howie that troublemaker. It figured as much, he can't be 'Sweet D' all the time haha! Fabulous chapter Kristal! Oh, and calling him Nickerbocker? Hilarious :D
Author's Response: later on there will be more detail about Nick's changes and stuff. it's kind of more about his new perceptions and feelings that he won't talk about until later. I have called Nick "Nickerbocker" quite often for years but just now decided to use it. lol. I am happy that you found it funny. this is the first time i have ever seen Howie represented like this. it's very daring. the "Ghost Hunters" referance was great, something many can relate to. i love it!

lol, that was awesome. reminds me of this one place on campus. it used to be an insane asylum, now its a dorm. there is actually a tunnel that went to the doctors house but its caved in (but the door is still there and if you open it there is a pile of rubble). the tunnel was there cause he would go to the patients at night and torture them. theres this haunted house every year where they "re create it". its pretty awesome :) loved it like i said :D

I based it off my experiances at an asylum...a lot of the main buildings are still standing but they have recunstructed (boo, we had to stop going). and my friends and I used to spend HOURS at that place! I still drive through it every so often for old time sake. I am glad you liked the chapter!!
