I like how you are already setting it up with forgetting little things, stuff that wouldn't make anyone really realize something was wrong. You can already also tell the struggle that he is going to go through later with what he will be forgetting, espeically when he forgets the music.
Author's Response: Thanks! I knew signs needed to show and start off minor. I mean you know going in what's to come, but for those that didn't, I wanted to be able to have readers remember this later on and see that it went all the way back to the beginning of the story. :)

I was so excited to get through work today to read the next chapter, and I have to say, I love it! I love the relationship between Nick and Brian, and the slight jump into the future. The imagery is amazing, I love it! Question, have you ever considered writing professionally?

Chapter 2
I love how you differentiate here between a fan and a groupie and that the girl he was with was most likely a fan. Little details like that are what makes things realistic without going way overboard. He doesn't have to jump up on a table and kick someone's head in to have us all see he's out of control, you keep it simple and that says a lot. Also once again I love how in your future they become relevant again and all the crappy music goes away. Can I live in your future please? lol

With as together as he seems to be these days, I hoped bringing him back to where he was before, came off realistically cause I needed him to be in that place

Girl, I am so impressed with each chapter I read. I can't wait for more. You're writing is reminiscent of a few of the greats from the "glory days"...which is what initially invited me into the world of fanfic. I get lost with each paragraph I read, seriously. You're so inside his head and the words are so vivid. I felt like I was right along side him as he went through the motions. Very curious as to what you have in store. Good fucking work, woman!

I love the fact that more of Kevin is rising up outta Brian; they aren't Kentucky cousins for nothing! Which brings me to this... Kevin needs to come back to get and keep ALL their asses on track! Lol. Again, I could visually picture Nick in that motel, everything from waking up next to the nude fan, to splashing his face with water, to escaping the room. Great job, as always, and with the way you're on a roll with all these updates, I'll gladly be your cheerleader anyday! :D
