Lol at the Justin Timberlake references. Great chap :) I'm glad that Brian's with Nick to help him out. So sad how he keeps thinking and saying that it's the last one but I'm glad he was able to finish it and get it out to everyone! Great job on the album artwork! Love it :)

Ok every time I read this I cry because I know the end is coming. I knew that from the start this would have a sad ending but this story is very powerful. Keep up the great work.

Aww poor Nick, that started off so well, with the crowd loving him and him adoring the attention and then he kind of lost it a bit towards the end of the interview. It's so sad that he'll never perform it live :(

I think Nick is really really strong to go on with his music carrer and not letting know about what he is going through to the fans. Everyday that pass Nick is getting worse :( Keep up the amazing job! Loved this chapter!
Author's Response: I think Nick in this situation, it's just showing the kind of man he really is. The fact he wants to leave as much as he can behind, for people to hold on to when he's no longer himself. So even though he can't tour, he's leaving behind an album, a video, and will do that final performance at the VMAs, etc. He's getting worse, but he's trying to fight it long enough to do what he feels he "has" to do. Thank you so much!

I wasn't sure whether to read this chapter before I went to bed because now that we're getting close to him hitting rock bottom I didn't want to dream about a Nick with Alzhiemers. lol i'm glad this chapter was lighter than expected. Also glad that he has Brian with him. Had to chuckle about all the Nsync/.justin talk since i've seen that come up a lot lately. They are always going to be compared. Poor Nick! Great chapter Rose! Poor Nick, always compared to Justin no matter what. I did like how you threw in that Justin has been MIA for a long time. One can only hope, LOL! Nick's interview and his "goodbye" was so sad. And I really liked the lyrics to Forget Me Not. I also really liked how you showed the front and back of his album - that was a nice touch. And nice to know he put Scream on a CD finally ;) Great chapter, Rose!
Author's Response: I know, it's annoying, he's being compared to him now (or was when they thought some song was Justin's) so I figure they will then. In my stories, things become how they should be lmao (except for Nick having Alzheimer's haha). Glad you liked the lyrics! I hate writing them, cause they always feel awkward lol. Aw that must be so hard, facing the world and knowing you're not going to remember any of these moments is hard. Even during the interview, it must have been such a struggle for him to even get out what they wanted him to say about the album. Knowing he won't remember any of it soon is horrible, I wouldn't wish this on anybody. I do love Nick and Brian joking together, I think he is dealing with it better that he has someone around to talk to. Awesome chapter as always!
Author's Response: It's definitely a struggle, forgetting, knowing he is. He's basically going to have to live for the present, knowing he won't remember the past soon enough. :( But I think his goal is still to make sure he makes his mark the best way he can. I love Nick/Brian too, and I feel their defense mechanisms with the tough stuff are very similar, so having Brian helps. Thanks Tracy!

Aww, I loved this chapter! It was so heartbreaking, yet had plenty of humor, too - especially loved the digs at Drums, Paris, and Carson LOL. It was so sad to see Nick suddenly forget where he was and why, or the lyrics to his song, yet be totally aware that he was forgetting, too... that's gotta be the hardest part. I loved how Brian was there to help him out so subtly. Gotta love Frick. I love the album cover, too, especially the back - gorgeous! DRATW, DR!!!
Author's Response: Awwww thanks DR! I can't help myself, when I get a chance, I totally toss in digs at the douchebags I can't stand lmao. I think that's gotta be the hardest part of the stage he's right now. He's aware he's forgetting. Sad and tragic as it is, once he's no longer aware, it might be easier for Nick. (Just harder for everyone else). I love that Brian's there for him, it's my fave part of this story I think their relationship (and of course Nick/Kevin lol). Thanks about the covers, I feel like they sum up Nick pretty well hehe. :)
