Author's Response: They were hard emotionally but easy cause those chapters flowed well. LOL awww, don't mean to make you look crazy.

the confusion that the people with the disease have was brought out well in his chapter. That feeling that everyone is against you. He really lost a lot of time, it really is time for him to be in the care of people. So sad.
Author's Response: Thanks! Poor Nick, it's time but of course no one wants to see it. This was one of the harder bits for me to write.

ARGH!! :'(
Author's Response: Awwww *hugs*

I didn't realize I was two chapters behind! This one was so sad. Nick had so many different emotions in this chapter, but I think that the saddest part was the end - when he reverts back thinking they're planning the Millennium tour. I really felt for Howie during that part, and I really liked the description of Nick acting like his 19 year old self. Great chapter, Rose!
Author's Response: Yes you were! You FAIL! lmao, okay not really, but I was wondering where you were and if I scared you off the story somehow lol. Thanks, this chapter wasn't easy to write cause I was trying to portray this accurately and not say cheesily or badly lol. Thanks Steph! :)

OMG, that was so sad :( From feeling something and suddenly feel other... I hate what is happening to Nick :(
Author's Response: I know :(, thanks for sticking with me though :)

It was really interesting to see Nick's progression through this chapter, from depressed to paranoid to angry to just completely in the wrong decade. The last part brought tears to my eyes; it was so sad to see him thinking it was still 1999 and time to get ready for the Millennium tour again... aww. :( Amazing chapter, ZDR!!!
Author's Response: Awwwww I didn't mean to make you teary eyed. *hugs you...hugs Nick...:(* As sad as it is though it's really interesting exploring Nick's progression with the disease. Probably one of my fave parts...if that doesn't sound twisted LOL. Thank you ZDR!

Oh no, he's deteriorating fast :( Poor Nick, but Howie handled it well I think. I can't imagine how awful it must be for sufferers and their familes/friends :(
Great update though!!
Author's Response: I know, it can't be easy :(. Thanks Steph!

Wow. What a powerful chap! So sad to read about him basically losing his mind. Love that song and you did an awesome job working it in! You capture the paranoia well. And poor Howie and the oher guys for having to witness this. So glad you finally updated...hope you do again soon.
Author's Response: Thanks, trust me its as sad to write it too. :(. Thank you about the song, it came on as I was writing this morning and I knew I needed to work that in. Thanks about the paranoia, I've been reading a case study for my project so I used a lot of stuff from the real life case study and have been working it into Nick. Thanks Sel!

First of all, I think the "real" Nick would kick your ASS for calling him middle aged at 36...lmao!!!!
I can't even imagine what it would be like to see someone you care about, love, go through something like that. I almost feel worse for Howie there than Nick.
Nice job! I've missed this story!!!
Author's Response: LMAO well technically he is at 36! :P. (He probably would though lmao) I dunno who I feel worse for, right now I think it's about even. As Nick's cognitive awareness goes I'll feel worse for the Boys. Because they're the ones who'll be aware, Nick won't be anymore. *hugs my Boys* Thanks Jen!

okay, last review that's not a review. lol I wish I would become a memoryless vegetable so this way i'd have no recollection of this whole collaboration.
Author's Response: LMFAO this is why I love you. :)

Ah man this was one of the saddest ones yet. When he all of a sudden reverted back to teenage Nick I felt sorry for Howie. I think from her on out it will get very sad. I will have Kleenex next time I read. Excellent story. I still think you are one of the best writers out there. Keep it up. And raise hell on the cruise.
MArguerite
Author's Response: Awwww. Yeah the thing about the disease is that time and space become very muddled at times and so the fellas are going to have to learn how to take that in stride. Thanks!

You actually depressed me more by telling me BSB was performing with NKOTB on DWTS. :OP lol
Author's Response: LMFAO! Well you know me, I'm out to depress you. I love that it's worse that they're singing with NKOTB than Nick becoming a memoryless vegatable. :P

aww this was a heartbreaking chapter. Nick's thoughts at the beginning were so sad. I can only imagine that kind of fear. And then the whole thing with Howie. Beautifully done. Thanks for depressing me. lol in a good way though.
Author's Response: I know, I read this case study the other night for a project (I picked Alzheimer's as the subject lol) and it was showing his thoughts and it just made me sad. I incorporated a lot of that into Nick in trying to see what he's trying to face down and deny at the same time. :(. Thanks, Mare. I always worry that it won't come off right when I write this story. I'm glad I depressed you LOL.

Thanks so much for the update. A new aspect to Nick's disease is interesting. This is so well done. Nice REM addition. :) Can't wait for more.
Author's Response: Thanks MA, yeah as the disease progresses the behaviors change and worsen :(. Thank you, I try so hard to keep it as accurate as I can. (Which at times ain't easy). I love REM, lol and the song came on...it fit too well not to include really.
