Love this chapter. You just reminded me of how much I missed reading this story. Jane annoys me, even when she's only in the story briefly LOL. I wish Nick would decide to go home, I mean I know why he's not...but he needs to realize just how much he's tearing up the Boys. And they're in danger either way :(.
Poor AJ...his reaction is definitely realistic. And Brian...Howie's stuck trying to be the strength of the group and that can't be easy.

Author's Response: Thanks ZDR! Aww... hopefully I'll be able to work on this one more now that summer is almost here (and real life Nick is screaming not to be tortured). LOL I hate Jane. This was the subtle version of her compared to how I usually write her. Silly Nick should go home, but I guess I wouldn't have much of a story if he did. I'm enjoying writing the guys' different reactions, AJ falling apart while Howie tries to keep everyone together. Glad you liked the chapter; thanks again!! :)

I'm glad to see Kevin is improving, even if still in a coma. Hopefully he'll wake up. I think AJ is right to want to move hotels too, who'd want to stick around in the place where the crime happened?
I wonder how involved Gianna will get? I think she'll try her best because she seems like a good person even though her boyfriend is just a nasty piece of work.
Can't wait for more, I've missed this story so much!

Yeah, it was just a matter of not being able to balance all these unfinished stories I have, and it was too hard to jump around between them; I do better when I can just focus on one story and write, write, write until my inspiration fails. But hopefully now that summer's almost here, I'll be able to work on both. Glad you liked the update; thanks for the review! :)

Wow! So glad to see an update on this story! First off, picturing Nick milking a cow is freakin hilarious. I especially liked the part when he compares it to jackin off. I cracked up!! The part with AJ is really sad...I can imagine that's where his head is but that's the last thing they all need right now. Wonder how that will pan out...And the last section was very interesting. I totally remember Serena Altschul. That was a cool trip down memory lane! lol. Great job as always. Hope you can update soon!

That's terrible, but that last part with Gianna, I had actually written back in the summer for the previous chapter and then ended up holding onto it for this most recent chapter, so it really had been awhile! I need to refresh my memory too before I write the next part about them LOL.

Yeah, I know they were so hugely popular back in that day, it'd be hard not to know, but at the same time, those types of guys probably aren't paying much attention to the boybands, so yeah, they didn't necessarily know who they were messing with at first. And thanks; I wanted to do that with this story, show what the other guys are going through while Nick's "missing." Thanks again for the review!

I loved Nick's thoughts about getting up early and then milking the cows and doing all the chores! lol I can see him being competitive with that. Poor AJ, that's pretty much how I thought he would handle something like that and now i'm worried this stupid guy is going to go try to kill Kevin for good! Ugh! Kevin wake up and get better already!

I saw that you updated and had been wanting to check this one out, so here I am. I always start reading fan fic kinda late in the game lol. I really like this one! It's very interesting and has a lot of twists I definitely didn't expect. Nick staying with an Amish family? That is great - I never would have thought of that. And of course poor Kevin's life hangs in the balance, and Nick has no idea. Gah! It's all so angsty and awesome. I love this story... your writing always manages to pull me in. I'll be keeping up with this one for sure, great work as always, Julie!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, Steph! You started reading it at a great time... I updated it really often when I first started writing it, but then I got writer's block and started Curtain Call, so it hadn't been updated since the beginning of July. Hopefully that won't happen again! I'd had this story idea for years, but never started it because it is a fairly complicated plot compared to what I usually write, so I kept getting hung up on plot holes. I'm glad I finally went for it. Thanks for checking it out! I'm glad you're liking it! :)
