Reading this chapter reminded me of a movie, Mr. Deeds, with Adam Sandler. He also fell for an undercover reporter. I'm hoping this story ends like that movie did! Nick will be so pissed off when he finds out what's going on and what she is. But I hope he looks past it and sees that she truly fell in love with him. He's going to need it once Brian......
We finally learned the truth...and WOW. So sad. I'm just shocked that Brian would choose to jaunt around with Nick instead of spending the last moments that he has with his wife and child. But I can understand the wanting to accomplish what he wants to accomplish on the trip. And Nick is such a caring, compassionate man to plan this wonderful trip for his best friend. This story is truly......beautiful.
Author's Response: I loved the storyline of Mr. Deeds, but I can't watch it anymore because Winona Ryder (or however its spelled I can't think, lol) annoys the hell out of me, lol. But it was a really cute movie. I wish they'd cast Drew Barrymore instead though. Adam and Drew are awesome together. ;) Thanks for reading!
