Ooh, action-packed chapter there at the end! I'm glad Nick and Brian are alright, but I hope Brian doesn't get sick from being in the cold water or inhaling too much of it or something. Going back to the beginning, I can't imagine being Leighanne and just being okay with Brian going on the trip with Nick and without Baylee and her (at least for now). She seems so calm and cool with it all, but I guess for Brian's sake, that's better than treating him like he's at death's door.
Author's Response: I think Leighanne's cool with the road trip because - as Brian's mentioned in passing - he's been given six months and the road trip plans are way shorter than that. Additionally, Nick's included her and Baylee in approximately a quarter of the plans. lol, Since you were like the 4th person to mention that I figured I'd throw out a response about it... There's a scene coming up when that'll be explained better. :) Thanks for reviewing & reading!! Glad you're enjoying the story!

Awwww go Nick! Intense chapter, but he saved the day. Which made me totally go "Awwww" lol. I also like that Brian's catching on to Amanda's odd behavior. I'm caught between hating her for being the one leaking info, and loving her cause she's an awesome character that makes me hate her LOL.
