Omg. The Welcom Home, you line totally had me! You're killing me. His is so beautifully written. And Brian is such a great person for forgiving Amanda. I think it's believable because he's dying...why would he want to spendtime being mad like that?

Aww, you did it! You made me cry! The "Welcome home, you" line AND the fan encounter at the end. Nice job! I love a good tearjerker, but it still takes just the right touch to actually jerk the tears out of me LOL. I think Brian was right to forgive Amanda, though I'm surprised he did it so quickly. He's probably a lot better, more forgiving person than I am though LOL.

I know exactly what you mean about seeing it in your head like a movie and it just pops onto the screen in word format. I used to have it, so I can envy you that you have it and are doing such a fabulous job :)
I love Brian. Have I said that before? I just love him so much in this story, and how serene he is about dying makes me want to cry. *sigh* Amanda ("whorebitch" in my head lol) better tell Nick ASAP. ASAP.

Author's Response: It's a curse and a blessing having it in movie format...a blessing cos I can actually write it quickly and a curse because I never feel like I convey what I'm seeing right! Brian's serenity in the face of death is something that I envy about the character, that I wish I had in my own heart. I wish I was that assured in my own faith that I wouldn't fear death. It's a peaceful thing.

Ok so i started reading this story yesterday and i just have to say that you've totally got me hooked on it.
I usually find it hard to get into fanfiction these days (even though i write myself lol) and after reading the first chapter of this story i was hooked and pulled in. I desperately look forward to updates and i know that sounds incredibly sad but i already know that if this was a book i wouldn't put it down until I'd finished it.
Really can't wait to read more :)

Hey Pen, sorry for never posting til now but I really do love this story. It's different. usually Nick's the one with the health issues, Not Brian. I also love the fact that you are just pushing these chapters out. Amanda tho... she seems nice but a reporter... so sneeky! I am indeed wanting to know where and how tis story goes. The confrontation is just... wow! Brian was not only angry for what she's doing to Nick, but Brian himself put a lot of trust in Amanda and felt so betrayed!
That's why he was so angry with Amanda!

Author's Response: One good thing about keeping Brian's mouth clean through the entire story (as hard as it can be sometimes) is that when he finally drops the F-bomb, it works powerfully (way more so than it does when Nick or someone else says it)... its like turbo charging the emotion behind his words. I'm glad the confrontation was satisfactory. Guess you'll have to stick around to see what happens as far as fanficky magic is concerned.

LMFAO!!! This chapter was hilarious. I love vengeful Brian... it just makes it that more interesting that he found out on his own! The whole story about drawing a penis on Howie's nose freaking cracked me up; I can just imagine how upset Howie would get! I'm so excited for the inevitable Brian/Amanda showdown!
