Author's Response: Yeah it's his own mind she's got him in. I'm actually basing this loosely on a memoir thing we read once in a psych class; this stuff actually "happens" to people - getting trapped in their own mind. It'll explain itself more as they go deeper.

Holy shit!! What an intense chapter. Melly seems to be good for Nick and well...she's real. I hope that he can get some help and get Vicky out of his head. I'm also very interested to find out where he is now. Good stuff!
Author's Response: All I can do is promise you that it's gonna get more intense... lol. Their location is key. I actually love Melly's character - I'd like to develop her more for another story sometime (maybe with a name change). (All my characters are like actors in my head that I cast to certain places with different names, LMAO... so yeah, Melly's personality may show up in another story I'm working on right now that I haven't posted yet).
