I realize that finding out your 16 yr old is sexually active is traumatizing, but reactions (on both sides) was over top! AJ really stuck his foot in his mouth trying the "do as I say, not as I did" thingy. And Kevin, Kevin, Kevin...you have a 16 yr old hottie son. What do you think he's doing? Playing checkers & making purity speeches? Both dads gotta get their heads outta their collective butts. Speaking from experience, no grounding or embarrassing punishments in the world are gonna stop those two from getting together again. *wink wink.*
It always cracks me up when everyone jumps on the boy for "taking advantage" of a girl. Who are they kidding. They obviously aren't taking Shelby's personality into consideration! She's not exactly an innocent lil' angel. LMAO

Ok, Mason and Shel need to get to a college together and fast lol. I think AJ is over reacing , who better to go out with our daughter then you best friends son? I really hope they work it out and they deserve to be together.

Okay, they should've AT LEAST given the kids a chance to talk before they all fucking jumped down their throats! They're SIXTEEN, not fucking five!!!!!!!!! They are old enough to consent to sex, whether the adults like it or not. Least, in Canada they are. Jeez. Punishing them is just going to make them hate y'all & wanna be together even more. Yes, technically it was a horrible thing for them to be about to do, but there's no need to go off the deep end so bad. Chillax & see things through their eyes, not yours. Jeez!

Oh lord I can see being mad but Kevin is right both of them did far worse when they were that age. AND Mason writing an article is embarrassing but thats the price you pay. ANd No phone ot internet for a month won't work she will find a way to talk to him. Keep up the great work.

Have to say as outspoken as Shelby is, I was a little surprised she didn't try to pled her and Mason's case....not that it would have done a lot of good, but just my thought!

Poor Shelby and Mason! The parents are forgetting about how they were at that age. They did worse. At least Shellby and Mason love each other and knew each other since they were 5. Hopefully they get to talk to each other alone.

Omg! I love it. How inceredibly awkward when they're with all the parents...lol. And I love how you're writing AJ and how he's blaming Mason. And I love how Kevin is taking up for him when he mentions that Shelby probably seduced him. LOL! And kevin's definitely right. We know that AJ's had his fair share of "fun." can't wait to see the fallout.

Although AJ has right in taking Shelby back and her parents grounding her don't they know that she is going to rebel against them? Can't wait for all the teenage drama coming our way.
I'm also glad Kevin called AJ on what a hypocrite he's being. There is nothing worse than your parents calling you out on your shit when they did the same exact bullshit if not even worse. It's not like she is sleeping around with someone she just met. She's known Mason practically her entire life. Poor girl. Will Smith had it right, "Parents just don't understand." LOL
