Oh my goodness, Hannah! this story is incredible... I finished reading this in one sitting and found myself crying at one point. Poor Nick... and Poor Howie... but I really enjoyed reading this, the emotions looks real. Great job! :)

Author's Response: While it isn't explicitly said that Nick returned to Mally, I feel like he did because he thought of her in the Epilogue. Maybe someday I'll do a follow up to this, but right now I feel like it's complete. :) I'm glad you enjoyed the story, and yes... we should never assume we know what others are feeling because many times what we perceive them to be is completely different than how they are for real.

And It would be cool if they could meet Mally since she is the one that believes in him and got him started on the journey. Quick question. Does he go back to her?

Author's Response: There is a man who works at the local Salvation Army that I based that character off of. This guy gives and gives and gives like crazy. He's an amazing man, and has been a blessing to many people the way this man in the story was a blessing to Nick.
