Oh man Brian is hurting the most I think. He would do anything for Nick. But I can see where AJ is coming from too. This has to be one of the best stories ever written.

Author's Response: Aww, ty, I'm glad you're enjoying it. :)

Oh Aj is so bitter but ti lie to Brian like that is very shitty. Now I know where Nick got that lighter. WOW very powerful story. Pleas keep the updates coming.

Oh Nick your stubborn pride will kill you. They really do love you but you have to forgive yourself first. Keep up the awesome work.

Oh man this is so sad. They really need each other but are too stubborn to admit it. I can't wait for the reunion. (I hope there is one). Please update soon and keep up the awesome work.

Gosh, what is it with your fics making me sob like a baby lol. This was such a heartbreaking, devestating yet wonderful journey they all had. You are a brilliant writer and the ending was absolutely perfect.

I know the prodigal son story well and I do think it fit with what you were trying to portray. Wonderful job. Thank you for sharing it with us. Now I must go dry my eyes lol.

PS. When do we get some more Time Watcher?

Author's Response: I've been jotting notes and storylining for Time Watcher. Honestly, I'm having some problems figuring out what to do with some of the characters and whether I want to take it a certain direction or not. Where the storyline is now, I have a choice to make between plot line A and plot line B and I'm trying to write in both directions and see which works better. I'll probably work on it after I've gotten Fix finished, before I start Fix's sequel.

I absolutely loved that story! It was so sad, the way he ended up homeless and treated like shit by society. But I'm so glad he met Mally and she set him on the right path to go and find Brian and AJ again.

Loved the happy ending. I don't know any bible stories, so it's interesting to know where you got the inspiration from.

Author's Response: As far as Bible stories go, it's a really good one, though short in the way it's told by Jesus in the gospel, it spells out a LOT more when you study it. This was obviously very, very loosely based on it, but the elements were there. :)

Imagine my surprise when I got up this morning and found this story finished! OMG!!!  Such a great story...I just wish the world operated like that..all the time.  The generousity he found along the way, the easy forgiveness he ultimately found, and needed.  Things are so screwed up in this world today.  These are things we should be able to see all the time when we look around.  I'm just so happy at the way it ended..the way it should be..Nick, back with his brothers, forgiven and able to heal and go on with his life the way he should.  I would love a short story on him contacting Mally again, and how that goes.  But once again, another GREAT story from Pengi!!  I LOVED it!

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the story! It was a lot of fun to write. I'm thinking about doing another "the way it should be" type story using an experience I actually had last year that I think it would be interesting to explore the Boys encountering. That may be coming within the next couple of days or so. The world is massively screwed up, but there are good things still out there and that's what this story was trying to bring across to the reader. Nick encountered good and bad both in this story. He encountered the withholding of forgiveness too though AJ's anger in the earlier part of the story, too, and the people who wouldn't look at him, etc. It was a little bit of both, but ultimately, in Nick's story here, the good triumphed. Sadly, too many times it doesn't in the real world. But here it did. I might eventually feel inspired to pick up and have Nick return to Mally and detail how life got put back together again for him, but at the time being I feel like it ended appropriately and the fact that Mally asked him to come back and he was still thinking of her meant he would, and if I were to venture a guess I'd say he did. ;) Thank you for the excellent review!

That was a beautiful story. you have really been knocking these stories out of the park this summer. Humor, tragedy, redemption, love, you write them all very well. I guess I like in your stories that the guys are so deeply connected to one another despite their separate lives outside the group. I don't know how true that is but I like to believe they're really like that.

Author's Response: After 17 years, they got to be on some level. Maybe not quite to the point that my stories depict it, but these are guys who have spent most of their lives on a tour bus together! If that doesn't create a connection, there is nothing on earth that ever will. I'm glad you're enjoying the stories and that you liked this one. It's been a lot of fun writing them and seeing peoples reactions to them. Thanks for the review!

Poor thing for feeling that way...it's like the opposite of the truth in brian's mind. And ew at the "tomato soup". Hat made me wanna gag. Lol

Author's Response: It tastes pretty gross too.. LOL. I've tried it, but not because of desperation like in the story, just because my dad mentioned they used to do that when he was in the army once and I wanted to see how sick it was, and .. wow it's just as gross as it sounds.

Wow! What an awesome story. To be honest, i only started reading it, because another story i am reading hadn't updated yet. I'm glad I chose to read it! It was really good. I luv, luv, LUV the ending. I'm so glad Nick decided to go "home." {cuz y'all know Brian's is 'Home" ;) }Will ther be a sequel? I'd like to know what happens in the morning, and with Mally.... :) again, great story.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for reading! I'm glad you enjoyed it. It does seem that in my stories there's a theme going with Nick/Brian where Brian is Nick's central "home" person, if that makes sense. I guess it's the Frick & Frack thing. I hope you check out the video I included in the author's note on the Epilogue as it really helps give a visual to the emotion that I was trying to write into the story (especially Chapter 24). As for a sequel...maybe, but I'm not feeling inspired to at the time being. It's something that would come in the future maybe. We'll see. Thank you again for reading, and for the review! I hope you check out some of my other stuff, too, if you liked this one!
