Author's Response: LOL I loved the visual of him running down the stairs when Brian threatened to return the gifts. I was going to use that in another fic, as it was a visual I'd written once, but it fit really perfectly in this scene, since Brian needed help getting the leaf upstairs. The original visual was for Time Watcher and involved a totally different situation. Baylee at 13 is fun to write. LOL

I really, really love this story and I can't wait to see where it goes. You've done a fab job drawing me in and keeping me there.
Any chance of hearing from AJ's side of it? Like what he was feeling/doing while Nick was gone. I know you touched on it, and that's enough since it's Nick's story, but I'm just curious. :)
Author's Response: Probably not much more other than what comes up in conversation - like nothing detailed - but I do plan on writing more stories from AJ's POV in the future.
