I was all sad the it was over, but got to excited for the sequel yay yay yay amazing ending to this part and so can't wait for the sequel. :D
Author's Response: No, I just wanted to put it into two different stories. This was more a home, school story. The other story is kind of going to be a kick back to With the Band :)

A rush of anger coursed through me. "Trevor, that's a horrible thing to say."-- Was trevor there when Brooke told the adults what happened to Kay? or had he left by then? In either case, he should not have cut her off, he should have let her finish. And yes, Trevor, that is a HORRIBLE thing to say.

Ahh, I feel bad for Brooke, but she is right to not settle unless the guy is the best. She will find that love.
I feel bad for Trevor. I am sure there is more to his story than he is letting on. His life is more troubling than anyone probably knows.
Nick is an awesome dad. I love the conversations he has with his kids. He knows how to talk and comfort them without acting like an old stodgy dad.

Oh this was so sad. I wanted them to work it out. Despite everything that happened I think they are right for each other. I can see him wanting to help out his siblings but at some point he needs to help himself. Please tell me they end up together???? Keep the excellent updates coming.

I brought my knees up to my chest and wrapped my lanky arms around them.
