This chapter was really insightful. You're doing a great job at setting them up for the big hiatus. I know they finished out the tour after AJ got out of rehab, but I bet they were feeling much the same way as they are in the story, with all the other things they have going on in their lives. I love the way you're setting up for Brian and Leighanne having Baylee, Howie and Leigh's relationship, Kevin getting tired of being a Backstreet Boy and wanting to get back into acting, and Nick veering down the wrong path with his partying. Some good things, some bad, but you're doing a fantastic job writing all of them. Are you going to write their visit with AJ? I forgot when in the story that was supposed to happen, but I was looking forward to it. Loving the story, and glad I'm caught up now! :)
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the compliment! I really want to show that they started to grow apart and that they are going in separate directions in their lives at this point. I'm really enjoying thinking about how things are now compared to how things were then and trying to piece it all together.. so I'm so happy to see that you think I'm doing a good job with the set up! It means a lot to me :) I am going to write them visiting AJ, but it will be a few chapters down the road. I'm excited to write that part! Thanks for your reviews, Julie! I love the visual image stuck in my mind of Howie making waffles lol I see a cute little arpon with hearts on it for some reason. It's funny to think that maybe in a weird kind of way, that AJ going into rehab might have been the beginning of the end for Kevin. Gettgin a chance to see what it was alikt without the boys. Lot's of sex in this chapter and can I just say Chris is a jerk! lol Great update Steph! Looking forward to the next one.
Author's Response: LOL I also picture Howie is a cute little apron! Too funny. I sort of feel like that about Kevin too... not to say he's not proud of AJ because I'm sure he is, but it must have been rough on him to be the father figure of the group for so long. And also that he got a little break to see what life was like without the BSB commitments all the time. I didn't really plan for there to be a lot of sex in this chapter, lol it jsut sort of happened that way! And I agree Chris is a total jerk! Nick needs better friends!
