Good job at showing the confusion and lack of communication in his chapter. I bet during this time there was a whole lot of that going on and I love how while everyone else is focused on Jive and the album Nick is being the ladies man lol oh, Nick! Nicely done!

Just out of curiosity, did you ever think that when you started writing this, you would be writing it while AJ was back in rehab? lol I'm not laughing at the fact that's he's back in rehab, just the timing of it all with this story I guess...crazy.
Author's Response: LOL I honestly had no idea. I agree the timing is weird... I had been thinking about writing this for quite a while before I posted it though but yeah, it is weird! I honestly did feel a little bad about posting it, because I remember back in 2001 when this happened some fic writers took their stories about AJ's alcohol abuse down out of respect for the situation. But whatever lol it's just fiction

I loved this chapter!! The beginning scene reminded me so much of this old humor story: http://www.dreamers-sanctuary.com/dwlyn/nickysong.html LOL I felt sorry for the guys, feeling so much pressure to write songs and no inspiration to actually do it. It's like writing anything, I guess; as soon as it becomes homework, the fun is taken out of it. I loved Nick's scene as usual; the way you write his narration is so funny. LOL at "They played that stupid NSync song that Howie likes." Love it!!
Author's Response: Thanks Julie! I LOVED that story back in the day, and I completely forgot about it until just now. So thanks for linking it :) There is definitely a lot of pressure on them, and they're going through such a rough period in their careers. I can see why they'd be unmotivated and almost bored at this point. The Nick scene was the most fun for me to write.. the other guys were so thoughtful and he's just all "Beer! Girls! Woo!" LOL I'm glad you liked it! Thanks again :)

So glad to see an update! This was a great chap. I especially liked Brian's thought process. He just seems to enjoy spending time with family and not being able to focus on work...understandable. Seems like Howie really is worried. Wonder why he hasn't talked to other guys about it. And I can't wait to see if Nick will show.

I kind of hit a wall with this story but then a bunch of ideas came to me when I was at the gym today... go figure, I would get inspired when I am in no place to sit down and write LOL. Howie does seem really worried, I think there is a big lack of communication happening all around. We'll see what happens with Nick ;) Thanks again!
