I love Howie lol. And reading that, I got the image of drunk Nick on the cruise in his TMNT PJs, and how touchy he was that night with that bottle of (was it vodka) in his hands lmao. You described drunk Nick to a T. I also love how Nick even though he'll never admit it, he wants to be in LA with the others.
Brian is still a douche :P.
Author's Response: Aw I'm glad you liked my depiction of drunk Nick! I definitely drew some inspiration from the cruise on this, lol. And yeah, he'll definitely never admit it, but he does want to be with the others. Poor screwed up Nick! And yes, I think you'll find that my feelings on Brian during this time period come through in this story!

Yay! I'm glad that Nick decided to go to LA and to get away from slimey Chris. I wonder if real life Nick still associates with that loser? I was just thinking about that the other day. Now that the tour is getting closer, it'll be nice seeing them all together again. I'm one chapter away from being caught up but I'm taking my time because I don't want have to wait ten years for the next update! lol and yes, I read these two chapters at around 6 am. I am an early reader lol
Author's Response: I think he does, actually. He mentions him on twitter sometimes. But maybe he's gotten better, who knows. Yay for you getting caught up! It's always nice to have a backlog to sit and read :) I hope it won't be ten years until the next update lol! I'll try to keep them coming quicker - as I told Julie I want to have it completed by the time we discuss it :)

Yay, I'm glad Howie convinced Nick to come back to LA with him. At least Nick can tell what a tool Chris is when he's sober. I hope they'll all patch things up before tour. You do such a great job capturing the ups and downs of their relationships with each other, Steph. Looking forward to the next update!
Author's Response: I hope they are able to patch things up before the tour too! And yeah, Nick does have at least some common sense while he's sober. But only some :P Thanks for the compliment, I try to balance things out with their relationships! Hmmm so just as Kevin is glad not to be seeing Nick till tour because he will take out his frustration with Brian on him, Nick iis going to LA with Howie. Do I see a lecture or blow up occuring in the future?
I really am enjoying this story and how u are portraying the wide range of emotions the guys probably went through during this period.
Author's Response: We'll see what happens with Kevin once Nick gets to LA, I would say it's not too far-fetched an assumption that there might be a blow up considering what's been going on between them over the course of the break! Thanks for your compliments, I'm so glad you're enjoying it! :)

I'm glad Howie is starting to get Nick to cooperate and that his advice is sinking through a bit because Chris is really a toolbag. As for Kevin, seems like he is starting to think about how he feels about the group (maybe the beginnings of him quitting). I'm seeing so much right now. Great update again, hope to see more soon Steph!
Author's Response: LOL yes Chris is definitely a toolbag! Ha! Howie went about it the right way with Nick I think, sympathizing with his situation rather than just lecturing him.
