Poor Nick, to him at that time, the tour bus was his home. Of course he wouldn't care about his actual house. It's interesting how Brian was just kind of "whatever" about the whole thing. Accurate though I'm sure. It's sneaky of Howie and Kevin to wait on telling Nick but I can't blame them, they're right lol.
You sure you don't have this secretly on tape somewhere and just watch it and write down what happened? :P
Author's Response: LOL I swear I don't have it on tape! But thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it :) I think being on tour definitely feels more like home to Nick, so you're right, why would he bother taking care of his actual house or even making it feel like a living space when he hates being there/doesn't feel like he should be. I always sort of thought that Brian really couldn't care less about the group in that period so soon after he got married, and that he'd be the first to leave so he could spend more time with his family.

So good to see this story being updated again Steph, I really love it. Kevin is being a bit of an arsehole towards everyone though, especially Nick. I know Nick isn't helping matters, but I'm sure he does things to get a reaction from the others. It's a shame AJ isn't ready to go back on tour, but he should take his time and get himself better before going back to that busy lifestyle.
Can't wait for more, I really love how you write the boys :)
Author's Response: Thanks Steph! Kevin's definitely in a mood, and he's taking it out on the others. I guess it's because the situation is so far out of his control he doesn't really know what to do. Aww how frustrating for them to have to further postpone the tour. I am glad they decided to keep it from Nick though. Should be interesting to see his reaction when he finds out about it. Okay, all caught up now do I expect some new updates soon!! :-)

I was glad to see an update on this yesterday! I was cracking up at the start of this chapter, when Nick was talking about how he never does laundry and the whole story about Kevin buying him a toothbrush and giving him a lecture on hygiene LMAO. If he wasn't so hot, I don't think we'd find the real life versions of these stories sort of endearing, rather than downright disgusting LOL. Well played on the other guys' part to not tell Nick the tour is postponed until they get him to LA... can't wait to read his reaction and the ramifications of that decision! Hope you can get back on an updating roll with this one!
Author's Response: Nick is so gross. It's so weird how I find him so hot and yet, I'm so disgusted by him at the same time hahaha. I was definitely cracking up at the mental image of Kevin watching Nick brush his teeth while I was writing this! It was definitely a good move on their part to not let Nick know what was going on until he got to LA, but he's obviously going to be pissed when he finds out. Thanks for the review, Julie! Nice to read an update, please keep them coming! Yeah I don't think Nick is going to see it as omitting a fact but rather just them lying. Can't wait to read the blow up that is sure to happen between Kevin and Nick now!
