:(. I hated the drifting apart of Frick and Frack so the Brian part of this was definitely depressing lol. But at the same time, Nick was in a bad place and Brian couldn't understand it. It's been my theory forever lol. Ouch at Nick finding out from Aaron. Howie! You're supposed to be smarter than that! You know things are bad though when Kevin's fed up with angry Nick.
Author's Response: I definitely think that Brian and Nick had a really hard time relating to each other once Brian got married and Nick started doing his entitled popstar thing. They were just so different during that time period. I definitely agree with your theory that Brian just couldn't understand what Nick was going through. Yeah, harsh for Nick to find out from Aaron lol way to go Howie! Not cool. Yup, things are definitely bad! Thanks Rose :)

I loved Howie's internal thoughts about Nick's rant lol he is amusing when he's angry. I love how you had Nick jump from scene to scene depending on which point of view it was written in. Also, I enjoyed the logical progression with Howie warning Kevin then calling Brian. It was sad at the end though, the whole drifting apart thing and the way you once again get the sense that Brian is only part of the group because it's a job, with the whole Jive will keep us stuck together reference. Yay for another update! Whatever you're doing at work, keep doing it! lol

I had a lot of fun writing Nick jumping from scene to scene so I'm glad you appreciated that, along with Howie calling Brian after Nick flipped out and Kevin didn't answer. Yeah, I think at this point Brian was very much ready to pack it in and only stuck around because it was just a job. I'll try to keep on the update roll! We'll see how it goes! :)

I knew this would happen. Damnit Howie. I think its so funny how predictable Nick has become to the other guys, they already knew what he was going to do. I also want to hug Brian because he does miss Nick but I think AJ isn't the only one who needs the brotherly support right now. Great chapter :)
Author's Response: Yeah, Howie should have told Nick as soon as they got to LA and avoided all of this mess! I know, Brian definitely needs a hug because even though he's frustrated, he's definitely suffering too, just in a different way than the other guys, I think. Mwahaha, I love how Nick found out about the tour, and reading about him flying off the handle at Howie and then Kevin was pretty entertaining!! The end of the chapter made me sad, though. Brian and Nick were such peas in a pod when they were younger, and their lives just went in such different directions. This is definitely the point where that became obvious, when Brian was a newlywed and Nick was starting his downward spiral. I think things are a lot better now, even if they're not quite Frick & Frack anymore. I had to stop reading this for a minute to go look up that Teen Choice Awards performance on YouTube, and LMFAO... what a hot mess that was. I thought Aaron's outfit was bad, until Nick came out. Who thought that look was a good idea?? LOL Again... things are a lot better now!! Thanks for another update so soon! :)
Author's Response: That part was SO fun to write, but I felt so awkward writing Nick saying "fuck" every second word while I was at work, haha! I kept looking over my shoulder to make sure no one was there. I felt sad writing the end bit too. I think you're right that though things are better with the two of them now, it's not quite like it was. I think they've found a good balance with each other now though! And yes omg that performance is so awful! As soon as I saw in the timeline that it happened during the break I knew I had to include it lol. Their outfits are so terrible, I've actually always remembered this awful performance because of that haha! Thanks for the review Julie, I'm glad you liked it! :)
