I'm glad Nick decided to go with Howie to visit AJ. His thoughts during that visit were entertaining, as usual! How he kept competing with Howie over his hair, girls he's dated, etc. LOL. Oh Nick, so arrogant and insecure at the same time. It's interesting what different places Brian/Leighanne seem to be compared to Kevin/Kristin. They got married the same year, but the Littrells are all gung-ho about having a baby, while the Richardsons haven't even thought about it yet. You did a nice job of showing that contrast in the two middle scenes. Now that I'm all caught up, I hope you update again soon!
Author's Response: I originally wasn't going to have him go visit AJ at all, but I figured he would if Howie was going and if he didn't have to travel to far out of his way. It can be hard to show the differences between Brian/Leighanne and Kevin/Kristin, so I'm glad you thought I did a good job of it! There will be more about the cousins once Brian shows up in Kentucky, haha. Thanks for the reviews, Julie! :) I'll try to get an update out soon!

Awww I love that Nick caved about visiting. He needed this just as much as AJ. I can kind of relate to Kevin and Brian a bit. Not that I work with my cousin, but we're friends and when we're fighting or annoyed with each other, family dinners can get a little awkward LOL.
Author's Response: I originally wasn't going to have Nick cave and go visit AJ at all, but I thought he might go once AJ was in the same city and out of the rehab facility. At least now this is a little bit more of a "normal" place for Nick to go and visit. And yeah, I can definitely also relate to the awkward family dinners.

I like how Kevin and Brian are feeling the same way about seeing each other in Kentucky. Nick's thoughts crack me up. Great job. :)

Uh oh Brian is going to Kentucky for a big family dinner that Kevin is also going to attend, are the cousins going to get into a fight in front of the family. I don't think Mama Richardson or Mama Littrel will be too happy with the attitudes the two have been showing each other, haha!
Glad to see Nick went to see AJ!

I love the Nick & Howie moments. I want them to live together forever! You gotta love Nicks thoughts about everything being white & all of AJ's tatoos being gone. I'm glad you had them both visit him. I also loved the bit about Brisn not really getting why he would tell his mom about trying to have a baby lol I was thinking the same exact thing. And Kevin being annoyed that his cousin was coming home, I would be too! Great update, hope to see another one soon!!
