Awww I love that Nick caved about visiting. He needed this just as much as AJ. I can kind of relate to Kevin and Brian a bit. Not that I work with my cousin, but we're friends and when we're fighting or annoyed with each other, family dinners can get a little awkward LOL.
Author's Response: I originally wasn't going to have Nick cave and go visit AJ at all, but I thought he might go once AJ was in the same city and out of the rehab facility. At least now this is a little bit more of a "normal" place for Nick to go and visit. And yeah, I can definitely also relate to the awkward family dinners.

Now lets see if Leighanne will let Brian see his family. And I really hate Jane, have I said that yet? Cause I do. Howie and Leigh are cute lol. It reminded me of a story Howie told on the first cruise about something they did in her hotel room on the black and blue tour when they were in Florida, so she's there for part of it anyway lol. The Kevin part is really sweet, it's ironic that him and Nick have reverse roles. Nick the oldest in his fam, Kevin the youngest, and then the opposite in the group.

She's so the worst, and I really hate writing her, but she does make for good drama, and I've honestly never forgotten the smug look on her face as the camera panned over her during that performance with her stupid sunglasses and designer jacket. Ugh! Go away, Jane. Howie and Leigh are suuuper cute. I'm intrigued by this story Howie told! I've always thought that Nick and Kevin's reverse roles were really, really interesting! It's something that I find really neat about their bond, actually!

Awww poor Nick, still mad because Brian practically ditched him for Leighanne. He's not far off about AJ/Brian lol :P. I really wanna smack Brian in this. You're reminding of why for awhile, I became solely a Nick girl. Even though Nick had his issues, Brian was more of an ass it seemed like.

Oh Nick...the little whore. I like to forget how big of a whore he was pre-Lauren lmao. I really enjoy how you write Kevin and Kristen, she really is my favorite wife. She supports without being all up in it...like say, Leighanne. Who I tolerate a lot better than I used to but still. Speaking of, I can't even imagine Brian trying to do swing LOL.

:(. I hated the drifting apart of Frick and Frack so the Brian part of this was definitely depressing lol. But at the same time, Nick was in a bad place and Brian couldn't understand it. It's been my theory forever lol. Ouch at Nick finding out from Aaron. Howie! You're supposed to be smarter than that! You know things are bad though when Kevin's fed up with angry Nick.
Author's Response: I definitely think that Brian and Nick had a really hard time relating to each other once Brian got married and Nick started doing his entitled popstar thing. They were just so different during that time period. I definitely agree with your theory that Brian just couldn't understand what Nick was going through. Brian's less douchey here LOL. I love Nick's POV. I know I've said that but I really do, he's so entertaining the way you write him. It's also realistic at the same time. I used to wonder why he stayed in Tampa when there's really nothing there for him. Unlike the others there's just nothing for him to go back to, and sadly they may not understand that fully.

Poor Nick, to him at that time, the tour bus was his home. Of course he wouldn't care about his actual house. It's interesting how Brian was just kind of "whatever" about the whole thing. Accurate though I'm sure. It's sneaky of Howie and Kevin to wait on telling Nick but I can't blame them, they're right lol.
You sure you don't have this secretly on tape somewhere and just watch it and write down what happened? :P
Author's Response: LOL I swear I don't have it on tape! But thanks for the compliment, I appreciate it :) I think being on tour definitely feels more like home to Nick, so you're right, why would he bother taking care of his actual house or even making it feel like a living space when he hates being there/doesn't feel like he should be. I always sort of thought that Brian really couldn't care less about the group in that period so soon after he got married, and that he'd be the first to leave so he could spend more time with his family.

Uh oh Brian is going to Kentucky for a big family dinner that Kevin is also going to attend, are the cousins going to get into a fight in front of the family. I don't think Mama Richardson or Mama Littrel will be too happy with the attitudes the two have been showing each other, haha!

I love the Nick & Howie moments. I want them to live together forever! You gotta love Nicks thoughts about everything being white & all of AJ's tatoos being gone. I'm glad you had them both visit him. I also loved the bit about Brisn not really getting why he would tell his mom about trying to have a baby lol I was thinking the same exact thing. And Kevin being annoyed that his cousin was coming home, I would be too! Great update, hope to see another one soon!!
