This was a great chapter Stpeh. Loved the Smirnoff ice game and the fact that Brian knew Nick's answers before he had a chance to ask the questions. Also loved the little argument between Nick and Kevin about posting on LD. lol
Author's Response: Thanks Mare :) I'm glad you liked it! One of my coworkers was telling me about that Smirnoff Ice game and it was just too funny, so I had to find a way to use it LOL. The LD part was really fun to write, I was laughing the whole time.

I loved this chapter!!! Probably my favorite one yet! The way you write Nick cracks me up. I feel sorry for him; it's obvious that he's bored and lonely by himself. It's nice he's able to hang out with the guys for awhile. I loved the conversation on Howie's intercom, when Brian knew the questions Nick was going to ask (and the answers) before Nick even asked LOL. Super Mario Brothers Three!!! Definitely the best Mario for NES, though of course the original is classic. I love Smirnoff Ice too, I'll admit LOL. And mudslides! Mmm... And I'll say it again: I love this chapter!! Keep up the great work, Steph! :)
Author's Response: Thanks Julie! This is probably my favourite one so far as well, I had so much fun writing it! Poor Nick indeed.. :( He is really having a rough time with everything, more than he's letting on. Super Mario Brother Three is awesome! I have spent so much time playing that game LOL. So glad you liked this one :) I'm going to try and do a lot of writing over my Christmas vacation so hopefully I'll have more up soon!

Aww, I loved this chapter, especially Howie's part! LMFAO at Howie making a Power Point for their meeting! That definitely sounds like something he or Kevin would do. Poor Nick, he does seem lost and lonely and sort of in denial about it. I like how he flew to LA a day early "so he wouldn't have to wake up early" and just showed up at Howie's place LOL. I loved what he said on Howie's intercom. So glad you're back to updating this one! :)

Yay, so good to see an update of this story Steph! I can just imagine a younger Nick sitting at his computer wondering which flight to book. I can also imagine Howie keeping the Backstreet pride alive with the group picture on the wall! Love it :)

aww, i'm so glad to see you updated this. Loved NIck's internal thought the best in this one. LOL his babbling about flights and how he hates booking them and wanting to get there early to avoid a Kevin glare. Also loved the bit about Brian not understanding why Leigh was tagging along. It'll be nice seeing them all together again. :O)

I love all the thought you put into what else would have been going on in this time period - Howie meeting Leigh, Brian and Leighanne thinking about starting a family, the greatest hits album, etc. You're doing an amazing job with this story; I'm really enjoying it. Aww... I can understand Brian's wanting to be with the other guys. I think they'd need to talk about it; they're the only ones who would understand what they're going through. Is Chris Nick's real life friend Chris or a fictional Chris? I'm not sure about him...
Author's Response: Chris is somewhat based off one of my friends who is very much into the bar and drug scene, and it worked out kind of well because of Nick's real life friend who is also named Chris. I don't actually know anything about Nick's friend I'm just making it up as I go haha. Thanks for the review Julie :)
