I love the way you do one scene from each of their perspectives in each chapter. It's a good way to move the story along and see it from all sides. I'm enjoying seeing the different ways they're dealing with everything. I liked Kevin and Howie discussing their eggs like a couple of old men - and "no one screams for them anyway." LOL Also liked Brian surfing LD and the mention of Nick's fake accounts LOL. Loving this story; keep 'em coming! :)
Author's Response: The whole perspectives thing was part of the reason I started writing the story. I remembered doing one of the forum challenges where we had to write from different POVs, and that one was a lot of fun so I wanted to try it in a longer story. I'm glad you liked the Kevin and Howie scene haha Howie is so hard for me to write! And of course I had to mention LD - LOL. Thanks again Julie! :)

Aww, it's so sad to think back on that day. I remember watching it live on TRL; it was scary, knowing something was wrong, not knowing what they were going to say. I was almost relieved at first that no one was hurt or something, but then when it really sunk in, I was so sad for AJ and for Nick, crying on TV, and for all of them. You captured their emotions well, especially in Nick's part. He seemed to have the hardest time with it, at least on the outside, though I know it must have been really hard for all of them. This is really well-written, Steph; you're doing a great job with it. Keep it up!
Author's Response: Thanks Julie! :) I watched that TRL clip quite a few times on youtube to try and get the tone of it right, so I'm glad you thought it came off well. It was such a shock to me when I found out about this - my friend called me at 6am because she read about it in the paper, we never saw the TRL appearance. I don't know what my reaction would have been if I'd turned on the show and they were sitting there all seriously, probably close to the same as yours I imagine.

Aww I can just imagine them sitting reading the posts on LiveDaily to see what the fans were thinking of AJ in rehab. Must've been a tough time on all of them, not knowing if there was a future for the band, etc.
Author's Response: I hope that the support of the fans helped them get through that tough time. It would have to be really scary just having to stop the tour like that, especially when they were always so gung ho about pleasing the fans. Thanks for the review, Steph :)

aww good job at showing how Howie felt guilt about what happened with AJ. I sometimes wonder if things would have gone down differently too if Kevin hadn't kicked down Aj's door. This was such a hard time for them. Poor Nick. I remember all the emotion he had during that interview. It broke my heart. I kept hoping someone would just hug him! lol

God I feel so bad for Nick, I think this is probably where his drinking problem started honestly. Still love Kevin, although I am a Nick girl I love Kevin being parental in fanfics. Howie was good too. Its cute that Brian reads Live Daily, I never went on there myself so I don't know what it was like. I just thought it was funny to see Brian reading message boards. Awesome chapter again!
Author's Response: I agree with you about Nick's drinking problem starting around the time and because of all this. I'm also a Nick girl but I'm growing fonder of writing about Kevin :) I never went to LD really either, sometimes I'd read threads when there was big news but that's about it. Another great chap! Poor Nick...he is not doing well. I love how you describe the awkwardness between Kevin and Howie. I can imagine that they don't know what to say. And I love the part with Nick's disguise and how the no one yells for Howie and Kevin. LOL. Also, gotta love the LD reference. I know Nick used to lurk there and fill the guys in! Can't wait to read more.

Aw I remember this interview as if it was yesterday, I remember crying when I saw how upset Nick was and always wondered what he was thinking at that moment...I think you have done a fine job of getting inside Nick's head! Loving this!
