Author's Response: Thanks for the review. The gift was actually stolen from a friend. One year for her anniversary her husband gave her a pair of baby booties to let her know he was ready to start their family. I thought it was the sweetest thing he's ever done so I wanted to include it. :)

Aww good start, Lore! Brian and Laney seem like a really sweet, real couple; I loved how they joked with each other about her snoring and such. I'm wondering if they're going to try to get pregnant and have a tough time, or if they're thinking of adopting. Curious to see where this is going. Glad you got the muse to work tonight! :)
Author's Response: Thanks, I had fun writing it even though I kept saying the romance was sickening. LOL. I am still not used to writing romance even with my other stories that pretty much are.
