That is just so cute and I can totally picture that. As for their dad I'm not sure how I feel about that. Max has had family this whole time and neither of them knew it. That was a very tender brotherly moment :)

I am loving this story! And I was so not expecting for Nick and Max to be brothers but it is a great thing. I'm so glad Max is finally rid of that box just the caterpillar. I'm sure Nick is gonna be a great big brother and they'll be able to help each other out.
I was thrown for a loop this morning when I clicked on the story and saw how much you updated. I had to retrace my steps to remember where I left off. lol.

Oh this made me cry. What that poor child must have went through and how he was treated. How anyone could do that is beyond me. Personally I think a solid oak baseball bat across the spine would be a good start. Raine was such an angel with Max. She would make an excellent mother.
