This is a really good story. You have created some interesting characters and I find myself really wanting to know more about them. It is a sweet but sad story but hopeful and I like it. I noticed a few typos here and there but other than that this story is really beautiful.

Oh my goodness, I love it already! I chuckled at your note that Nick is NOT Nick Carter. (Even though in my mind he just might be - there's only one Nick that revolves in my brain!)
