So Donald Trump wants all the celebrities dead? That's a new take on Celebrity Apprentice! LOL Very interesting! I think it's cool how you're alternating between the two different times - it sure keeps one guessing! LOL I liked the reference to Terminator because that's what this feels like; that's the kind of world I'm picturing as I read these scenes. I'm glad Brian and Kevin are okay, but I wonder what happened to AJ. This dark, post-apocalyptic kind of story is different for you, but it has all the hallmarks of a good Mare story - mystery, suspense, and plenty of bromance. I'm really enjoying it so far!!

Just keep in mind, I wrote this long before Trump ever talked about running for office so you can imagine how much that freaked me out! LOL I was just thinking, hrmm...who is douchey enough to cause the end of the world and he's the first one that came to mind. Thanks for the compliment! It was hard writing something different but i'm glad it still translated well as a me type story. (so far) I hope it continues to do so!

I finished reading "What Lurks Around the Corner" it was very good somehow I knew the ending was going to be like that all along...and yet it still surprised me!!
This story is going to take a while to grow on me but its getting there!!

Cue ominous music! Now, where is Alexander James? Sure, Brian has a fear of heights, yet when survival is the key, adrenaline kicked in and he climbed it. I'm sorry, but I did giggle a little at the billboard....Britney "speared." As I'm reading this, I'm thinking about the Reagan presidency....our country seemed so strong. Yet, in this timeline, Donald Trump brings about the apocalypse. I guess he ran before anyone could tell him he was fired. I know I'm rambling now....but iit's 5:00 in the morning and I'm wide awake. I'm looking forward to the next installment. I hope we "hear" from AJ next.

Ronald came way before this. But yes, in this weird place they are in, stupid people elected Trump. Sometimes I am scared that stupid people will elect someone like Trump to rule our country because he's like famous like... lol I mean I had to stop watching AI because of the stupid way Americans voted just for that! Holy shizzle. This is so good, Mare. This reminds me of War of Worlds. lol. Where the hell is AJ? I hope he's ok!! Love the description you gave about Brian's fear of heights and how, although he jokes about it, it's a true fear.I also love the part when Brian is thinking about Kevin giving up on the other guys being alive...how he's in survivial mode. Dying to know what the hell is going and to see if they're gonna meet up. The storyline is so cool...wth Donald Trump seeming to be in charge, leaving celebrities in danger after what he's done (whatever that is). Can't wait for another update!
