Holy shizzle. This is so good, Mare. This reminds me of War of Worlds. lol. Where the hell is AJ? I hope he's ok!! Love the description you gave about Brian's fear of heights and how, although he jokes about it, it's a true fear.I also love the part when Brian is thinking about Kevin giving up on the other guys being alive...how he's in survivial mode. Dying to know what the hell is going and to see if they're gonna meet up. The storyline is so cool...wth Donald Trump seeming to be in charge, leaving celebrities in danger after what he's done (whatever that is). Can't wait for another update!

Have I ever told you how much I love your writing from Nick's POV?!  It always provides some type of comic relief....and I have a feeling that we will need some comic relief in this story.  I love the way you have me caught up in Nick's excitement about the album release; yet, there's still some trepidation, on my part because I already have a glimpse of what's going to happen.  Great job, Mare.  Looking forward to the next installment.

Loving it! Curious to see how it all came about and can't wait to read more. Aw poor Nick getting his glass of champagne taken away, lol. I share Brian fear of heights too, there is no way I'd go anywhere near the edge of a tall building (or even a small building).

Wow! This is definitely very different, for you and for fanfic in general, but I like it so far. I'm intrigued! I both love and hate that you started in the aftermath, because it's more interesting that way, but also more confusing. I'm dying to know what happened to land them there. Great beginning!

Whaaaaat? lmao Sci-fi eh? I LOVE science fiction stuff with the boys, hate fantasy (unless really well done) but love sci-fi. I think I have a pretty good idea of what happened, especially with talks of planes and portals and all that, but I had to read it a second time to really get it. It looks like a certain author won't be supporting a Donald Trump 2012 bid to run for office though. lmao

I'm really interested to know why this world is the way it is, based on what the boys know so far. Why they're (who?) bombing, why there's no young people, where the others are, what they have to be afraid of. Exciting stuff. I liked when they locked the door at the end it reminded me of 'I Am Legend', when he's locking down for the night which all but scared the crap out of me.lol That and the way you wrote Nick, was really clearly like how a traumatized child would react. Needless to say...I'm excited!

lmao yes scifi! I am getting a kick out of everyone's reaction that. I'm scared, we shall see what happens. I do have to say I wrote that about Trump BEFORE he said anything! So I am predicting the end of the world. It's been fun trying to concoct a good storyline for what the hell is happening. I hope as it unfolds it's believable. I am realy trying a boatload of new things with this story, we shall see what happens! I have neevr seen I AM Legend. I know i'm a suspense writer but I have seen only a handful of scary movies. LOL Thanks Sam! Glad Nick came off traumatized. :O) I'm so mean to him.
