Awwww poor Kevin, his imprisonment has left it's marks on him and Vosh. Not being able to handle the idea of a gift with no strings attached because it just hasn't happened to her in such a long time - that's so incredibly sad.

Miles deserved that, what a complete asshole! But I'm glad Brian and Howie managed to calm things down and make him see sense.
I'm really liking Vosh and look forward to hearing more about where she's from etc. Imagine being able to heal like that, it would be amazing.
Can't wait for more as I'm loving this story.

Okay not saying how much I cheered when Kevin punched Miles LOL. I think it's really amazing seeing Vosh's thoughts like this. You really get inside her head and make me feel like I'm reading the thoughts of another, selfless lifeform.
One thing I like about this story is that it takes place after a war. That's not common, usually it's at the beginning or in the middle of one. But at the end, it shows the story of life after, adjusting, and sometimes a way better story than the war itself. :)

I love how real this story feels. Miles is still an asshole but the fact I hate him says a lot about how well it's written. I knew Vosh had to have saved Kevin, and I really like seeing Nick's thoughts and fixations on her.
And I'm very happy to see Kevin awake of course. :). The brotherhood that carries through into this AU is very clear.
Onto the next chapter...

Aw, I loved the Kevin and Nick moment, that was sweet. And I like how the revelation of Vosh came about, with Nick's drawing and that Kevin could get the right telling of the story from him, not pompous Miles. It's going to be weird since the story is starting at the END of a war, to see how they all stick together, or go back to normal or what not. I love reading this one though, I look forward to the updates every weekend.

Good to see that Kevin is on the mend and should regain consciousness soon. The guy who tortured the alien girl is a nasty piece of work though. I know they are the enemy, but she's hardly a threat. I can't wait for more, really enjoying this, I've not really come across many sci-fi fics before and I like the way this is written.

I love this, I really do. I really enjoy how you give us the perspective of the female alien. Clearly something happened and she was the one who rescued Kevin. The Captain is also an asshole. I also love how Nick's drawn to her and how she's drawn to him.

Ah, Captian Miles. He's a man you just gotta love to hate! Really the opposite of both Brian and Kevin. The alien does like Nick, he's the first one who's been kind to her other than Kevin. It's far from over. :)
