Oh I was waiting for them to come upon some sort of carnivorous beast! I liked the change of pace here in that it didn't attack. Good job with the suspense here, though.

I'm glad Howie's doing okay... for now. I can't imagine their attempt at surgery won't have repercussions, though. I love how Nick's so full of wisdom from watching TV LOL. I was excited to see the jaguar, but since there are no New Kids left to eat, I guess it's better they weren't attacked. Plus, Nick had a good point - the jaguar was probably just as afraid of them as they were of it. Reading on!

LOL at AJ and his Debbie Downerness! I enjoyed the lack of action in this chapter. I think it's nice to combine action with the simple everyday survival they're goign through. I'm happy to see you updated! YAY!! Also glad to see Howie doing better! :O)
