Sweet sweet Brian . . . . . he loves her so much . How can anyone wish she would stay with Nick?? Yes,she has developed feelings for Nick, but Brian was truly her world until he pushed her away by pretending not to love her. Now she knows the truth - that Brian never stopped loving her. I believe she will stay & love him with all her heart until death takes him from her. What bothered me is that Nick doesn't seem to even care that Brian is going to die. If Nick loves her, then he can damn well wait until Brian is gone to try to have a life with her.

I feel bad for him, I do. I get that he was trying to be a gentleman & let her go. But....I still think Brian's a jerk.He wasted all that time pushing her away, when he hsould've been loving her instead & given her his blessing to move on after he as gone. And even straight into Nick's arms if she so felt the need to do so. He shouldn't have done it this way. So much wasted time.

Author's Response: I'm kinda proud I've got you so darn frustrated and angry with Brian. LoL. I'll be the first one to say that his choice was EXTREMELY flawed...but if felt the other route had been done a million times before. :)

I knew that Nick was part of Brians plan.. All this is just so sad :( I love that Brian is doing everything he can to take care of Chrissy even after he's gone, but he needs to understand that she needs to be with him trough this.. She and Nick can be together after Brian is gone, if he really loves her, he will wait until she's ready..

This sums up how much Brian loves Chrissy. Loving her and still knowing that his ultimate gift would be her happiness with someone he trust and knows that can make her happy.
And I really hope that Nick understands what's going on and that after Brian's death he could be with Chrissy.
Author's Response: Brian's intentions were good even if his execution wasn't. But I think part of it could be blamed on the disease itself. His judgment is impaired. :(
